  • excellent vacation rental

"My husband & I enjoyed our stay at this condo on Fort Meyers beach. The view was magnificent! The condo was well supplied with everything to make our stay pleasant. Adequate kitchen ware, big fluffy towels, beach towels & chairs. Wi Fi in the unit. The owners were very helpful with all questions we had and supplied a key in advance of our stay. I highly recommend this property."

  • Fantastic place-- close to the beach

"House is very nice and has a nice updated kitchen. The house is very nicely decorated with Mary Ellen's artwork. On this trip, we only had two adults and one 11 year old. We had tons of space. This house can easily accommodate 6-8 (using the couches to sleep). Bedrooms were comfortable and there were plenty of hangers and dresser space for clothes. Kitchen is very well stocked. We cooked in the kitchen every day-- except our day of arrival. It's always harder to cook in someone else's kitchen-- when you are used to your own. My advice is to bring a few of your "must haves" if you are able to-- particularly when driving. When we drive, I usually bring a few things that I'll want to have in the kitchen. This time, I brought (1) Espresso Coffee Machine, (2) Foreman Grill, and (3) a pot for making popcorn on the stove (so I didn't risk burning one of the house pots). We found the house to be a great balance of budget and location. It is cheaper than some places you'll find that are right on the beach. For the better price, you get being close to the beach-- instead of on the beach. The beach is 3/4 miles to the actual water. It's about a 10 minute walk to the public beach entrance (right next to entrance to Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park). It is a 2 minute drive to the beach. I recommend driving if you have gear. There is really no free parking at the public beach entrance. There is plenty of parking at the Delnor-Wiggins park for $6/day). The beaches were very nice / convenient. On one day, we ventured to Vanderbilt beach-- which is about a 10 minute drive to parking garage ($8 / day) followed by a 5 minute walk. Vanderbilt has a wider beach than Delnor-Wiggins pass and is more crowded. Both beaches are clean, well-maintained, with good facilities. I recommend researching both parks on the internet for additional details. Mary Ellen is extremely accommodating and easy to work with. You can't rent from a better owner. She obviously cares that her renters have a great experience. There are some basic, common-sense house rules that are easy to follow. The main rules were to keep sand out of the house and be careful with oil on the granite countertops. (Both of these you would do at your own house). We found the rules easy to follow. For sand, we always entered through the garage to drop off gear Then, we showed in the outdoor shower at the side of the house to rinse off any remaining sand."

Estero Travel Tips

Friends, Fun, and Estero Vacation Rentals

There's nothing quite like a private party on the beach or trying new exciting things! Estero vacation rentals are the perfect place to stay and enjoy a break from school -- like Spring Break -- with all of your best friends.

In Estero, there are lots of fun things to do. Several malls are within close driving distance, along with spas and the beach. For the adventurous, hiking and exploring, snorkeling and scuba diving are available. If you've never played tennis or golf, this could be a great time to learn or to brush up on your skills. Lying around on the beach sunbathing is also fun, but don't forget your sunscreen! You can hang out in a Jacuzzi or hot tub just to relax. Renting a movie and staying in for the night in the Estero condos might be similar to being at home, but is so much better!

On the beach, you can collect seashells, throw a Frisbee, or whatever other beach activities your heart desires. Sailing and boating are fun ways to enjoy the water without actually jumping in and swimming -- and the sound of the waves crashing against the shore will be the perfect soundtrack to a wonderful day of fun!

Exploring the Local Life

Estero beach rentals are located near historical sites and history buffs can spend many hours exploring the area. Later, you can splurge and eat out on the town in one of the local eateries, or choose to enjoy a home-cooked meal in the comfort of your condo instead. To wind up your wonderful day, you and your friends can go for a drive through the beautiful neighborhoods to see just what makes Estero such a great place to be.
