  • Wonderful! Fantastic!

"This unit is very clean and modern. The pictures are exactly how it looked when I arrived. The beach is fantastic, although I was a little nervous of how fast it got deep, so we went up to the main fort myers beach area to swim where there are more sandbars. I can't say enough of how pleased I was with the rental. I would love to go back again."

"We had a wonderful stay at this home in Naples. Very good location and walking distance to the beach. Nice pool and outside space. Seperate cottage very useful for families. We would stay here again and recommend it highly."

  • Beautiful unit, great location but issues with noise and parking

"The owners have done a great job with this unit. It is clean, comfortable and very well appointed. Everything is just as described. Very comfortable for 4 adults. Close to the beach and in the heart of the village. We were a bit concerned with potential noise from the nearby restaurants and bars, but that was not an issue at all. The noise issues we encountered were two-fold. An adjacent unit was occupied by an elderly person who is apparently hard of hearing and lonely. The TV blared most of the night in that unit and unfortunately, the sound travels into one of the bedrooms which makes for a tough night. I'm sure the neighbor has no idea that the TV is too loud. Hopefully, that person was also a tenant and not a renter, as no one else has mentioned it in any of the reviews. The nearby Siesta Key Fitness Center blares techo music most mornings when it opens at 7 AM, which is especially loud on warm mornings when they prop their front doors open. Additionally, we often had no place to park as the fitness patrons would be in the spaces belonging to the Villa. I'm sure we could have called and the property manager would have had them towed, but the fact that the parking wasn't available when we needed it, especially when returning with groceries was particularly annoying. And since the parking pass we were supplied was out of date, we were concerned that our car would also be towed if it were parked when someone was checking for illegally parked vehicles. If the issues with the Fitness Center get permanently fixed, and perhaps a bit more sound insulation added between units, this place would be a 5."

  • Failure to disclose resort fees

"Resort and condo were both very nice. This would get a 5 star rating except that upon checking out we were hit with a $342. bill from the resort. The VRBO site for this property listed under Fees the cleaning plus 10% tax rate. Nothing about resort fees. I checked other listings on VRBO and each of them specified under 'Fees' any resort fees applicable. The owner has failed to respond to emails or voice mails regarding this."

Estero Travel Tips

Friends, Fun, and Estero Vacation Rentals

There's nothing quite like a private party on the beach or trying new exciting things! Estero vacation rentals are the perfect place to stay and enjoy a break from school -- like Spring Break -- with all of your best friends.

In Estero, there are lots of fun things to do. Several malls are within close driving distance, along with spas and the beach. For the adventurous, hiking and exploring, snorkeling and scuba diving are available. If you've never played tennis or golf, this could be a great time to learn or to brush up on your skills. Lying around on the beach sunbathing is also fun, but don't forget your sunscreen! You can hang out in a Jacuzzi or hot tub just to relax. Renting a movie and staying in for the night in the Estero condos might be similar to being at home, but is so much better!

On the beach, you can collect seashells, throw a Frisbee, or whatever other beach activities your heart desires. Sailing and boating are fun ways to enjoy the water without actually jumping in and swimming -- and the sound of the waves crashing against the shore will be the perfect soundtrack to a wonderful day of fun!

Exploring the Local Life

Estero beach rentals are located near historical sites and history buffs can spend many hours exploring the area. Later, you can splurge and eat out on the town in one of the local eateries, or choose to enjoy a home-cooked meal in the comfort of your condo instead. To wind up your wonderful day, you and your friends can go for a drive through the beautiful neighborhoods to see just what makes Estero such a great place to be.
