  • Baseball fans

"We enjoyed the month of March at River Strand and this wonderful condo. The pictures don't do it justice. Lynn has made a comfortable, lovely home. We felt like guests rather than renters. She was so helpful and returned all texts and calls quickly. The heated pool across the street was a convenience that we appreciated. The location is close to major highways making it easy to visit the various baseball parks for spring training games. We would definitely recommend this property to family and friends. We hope to be back next year."

  • Rustic cottage

"The proximity of the beach house to the gulf was fantastic. The house was very rustic and charming, however many areas need to be upgraded throughout including the appliances. The beach house is so popular, that it's hard for the owner to schedule some time to get the work done. The pool was not maintained during our 2 week stay, and as a result algae made pool enjoyment impossible halfway through the second week. The pool service was quickly dismissed by the owner."

  • Our own piece of paradise!

"Our family arrived after being in the keys for 5 days and it was so nice, and quite, and relaxing after all the touristy stuff! Theists had buckets full of shells within minutes of hitting the beach! First off, the house is everything the pictures show - the kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans and utensils. The beds were comfortable with plenty of extra pillows and blankets. The bathrooms had plenty of fluffy towels. The laundry room was so convienent for running a couple of loads. The beach is gorgeous! We wrote down the tide schedule for the week so we knew when we would have the best shelling. There was also a storm that came though the night before we arrived and there were lots of big shells for the taking. During the week, my kids found over 100 sharks teeth, a mermaids purse, a horseshoe crab shell and lots and lots of shells! We also fished off the beach and caught a lemon shark and a devil ray. While swimming, sting rays would chase their dinner right between your legs! We also saw many dolphins right off the beach. Pirates water taxi was our way of getting back and forth to the island. Yes, it does get expensive, but they are running a business that is seasonal. I recommend making your reservations at least a week ahead of time if you go during the busy season. They are the only water taxi running out of Elreds Marina. Make sure you have everything you need so you don't have to go back and forth! We rented a golf cart for a couple of days from the guys on the island (I can't remember the name of their business) and it was a great way to see the island. I thought their rates were reasonable and we had some problems with one of the carts and they came and traded it with another one with no problem. This vacation was just what we needed for our family. Our kids are 11, 8 and 5 and they were never bored. One night we even took flashlights to the beach and searched for crabs! The stars - so many! We did do a day trip to a airboat Eco tour so we made it a day off the island and ate out, got ice cream and did some shopping. If you are looking to get away from the touristy crowds and just spend some time with your loved ones, Little Gasparilla Island is the place to go! The owners have equipped the home with everything you could need. Bring your clothes and lots of food and you will have a wonderful time!"

  • quiet and relaxing

"Just back from our 1st stay on LGI. The Veron's have a clean and inviting home with plenty of space for you and your family to spread out and kick back. Really loves the outdoor shower and the large screened porch . The beds are very firm and toppers would help for a more restful nights sleep. Alice and Rod, the property caretakers, went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Overall my family and I had a great vacation and really didn't want it to end. Thanks Bonnie and Edward for sharing your beautiful home."

Estero Travel Tips

Friends, Fun, and Estero Vacation Rentals

There's nothing quite like a private party on the beach or trying new exciting things! Estero vacation rentals are the perfect place to stay and enjoy a break from school -- like Spring Break -- with all of your best friends.

In Estero, there are lots of fun things to do. Several malls are within close driving distance, along with spas and the beach. For the adventurous, hiking and exploring, snorkeling and scuba diving are available. If you've never played tennis or golf, this could be a great time to learn or to brush up on your skills. Lying around on the beach sunbathing is also fun, but don't forget your sunscreen! You can hang out in a Jacuzzi or hot tub just to relax. Renting a movie and staying in for the night in the Estero condos might be similar to being at home, but is so much better!

On the beach, you can collect seashells, throw a Frisbee, or whatever other beach activities your heart desires. Sailing and boating are fun ways to enjoy the water without actually jumping in and swimming -- and the sound of the waves crashing against the shore will be the perfect soundtrack to a wonderful day of fun!

Exploring the Local Life

Estero beach rentals are located near historical sites and history buffs can spend many hours exploring the area. Later, you can splurge and eat out on the town in one of the local eateries, or choose to enjoy a home-cooked meal in the comfort of your condo instead. To wind up your wonderful day, you and your friends can go for a drive through the beautiful neighborhoods to see just what makes Estero such a great place to be.
