  • Great Beach Vacation

"My wife and I rented this unit based only on VRBO’s description but we were greatly surprised to see that the reality was actually better. Nothing was missing, kitchen utensils and pots, silverware, even plastic storage containers and beach towels. Same for the beach, this unit has a fully stocked outdoor closet with beach chairs, beach umbrellas, boogie boards, sand toys, small cooler and a nifty cart to wheel everything there. Furniture is very comfortable and functional including the big screen TV. Let’s not forget the beautiful Siesta Beach with private access, my wife loved it and we went every day in the morning and evening to watch the beautiful sunsets. Great location with easy access to plenty of stores and restaurants. We liked it so much that we are planning on going back for a much longer period."

  • Made my week! Lovely, charming, perfect!!

"I have already shared the cottage info with several people and would highly recommend to anyone interested in Manasota Key! The description and pictures were spot on but it was still a wonderful surprise upon arrival. It was immaculate, well-maintained and pleasantly decorated - cozy and comfortable. The amenities were more than ample complete with bath and beach towels (and beach gear) and the kitchenette very functional, with more than adequate fixtures and utensils if you want to cook in. I would forego that to using the grill and enjoying the private patio with the table and umbrella surrounded by vines of jasmine - a perfect spot for coffee in the morning or cocktails after the beach. My only complaint was the need for a larger coffeepot since every morning was spent relaxing before and after a daily walk, a wonderful treat just to chill! The owner's assistance was very helpful (it was a treat to actually meet her) from renting bikes to sharing suggestions for restaurants and shopping. The cottage is very convenient (quiet and safe) to both the bay and the ocean and a very short walk to numerous restaurants and beachy-type eateries. A perfect cottage at the beach! It was sad to leave."

  • Family Vacation in Paradise

"We just returned from our vacation on AMI. It was our first time on the island and we absolutely fell in love!! The house was gorgeous and worked well for our family! We traveled with our two babies and both of our parents. The house was the perfect size for our group!! Each of us had our own space, but we enjoyed coming together at night to play cards at the large dining table. The location of the house is ideal. We could walk to the many resturants and shops on Pine Ave. We walked to either the gulf or bay side beaches in the morning and spent our afternoons relaxing by the pool. You can tell that some of the outdoor furniture had been replaced, which was nice. It would have been nice to have some folding beach chairs, but we made our towels work. It was so nice to have use of the wagon to haul all our stuff to and from the beach. The house is very well equipped. We would love to rent this place again in the future!"

  • John - Escape from the Frozen Tundra

"Wow!! We have been vacationing on Sanibel for over 20 years and Las Ondas is one of the finest rental homes on the island. The pictures acurately describe the many updates that have been made both inside and out. The kitchen, is well equiped for either casual or formal dining. The pool and lanai area provide a private setting for relaxing and entertaining. The yard and gardens are well planted and provide a mini-wildlife sancuary with gopher tortoise, pileated woodpeckers and many egrets. The house was very clean and well maintained. We love the beach and this house is a short walk (across the street!) from the beach for fun in the sun. Sharon and Judy (the rental agents at C2C) were very helpful and quick to answer questions that arose. For example, when the dryer died, they had a new one ordered and installed in 3 days! The location of the property is a short bike ride to shopping, restaurants and the Ding Darling wildlife preserve. Las Ondas was a great escape from the frozen tundra this year…We Will Be Back!!"

Estero Travel Tips

Friends, Fun, and Estero Vacation Rentals

There's nothing quite like a private party on the beach or trying new exciting things! Estero vacation rentals are the perfect place to stay and enjoy a break from school -- like Spring Break -- with all of your best friends.

In Estero, there are lots of fun things to do. Several malls are within close driving distance, along with spas and the beach. For the adventurous, hiking and exploring, snorkeling and scuba diving are available. If you've never played tennis or golf, this could be a great time to learn or to brush up on your skills. Lying around on the beach sunbathing is also fun, but don't forget your sunscreen! You can hang out in a Jacuzzi or hot tub just to relax. Renting a movie and staying in for the night in the Estero condos might be similar to being at home, but is so much better!

On the beach, you can collect seashells, throw a Frisbee, or whatever other beach activities your heart desires. Sailing and boating are fun ways to enjoy the water without actually jumping in and swimming -- and the sound of the waves crashing against the shore will be the perfect soundtrack to a wonderful day of fun!

Exploring the Local Life

Estero beach rentals are located near historical sites and history buffs can spend many hours exploring the area. Later, you can splurge and eat out on the town in one of the local eateries, or choose to enjoy a home-cooked meal in the comfort of your condo instead. To wind up your wonderful day, you and your friends can go for a drive through the beautiful neighborhoods to see just what makes Estero such a great place to be.
