  • Great time in Marco!

"Had a wonderful time on Marco Island. Beautiful penthouse condo with beautiful views. Great restaurants..our favorites were DaVinci's and Fin Bistro but be sure to make a reservation the week before your trip and request to eat outside at DaVinci's. We also tried Stilts and Snook Inn but the food was just okay...although beautiful setting for both! Enjoyed CJ's at the Esplanade for a drink and some ColdStone ice cream. The beach was spectacular and perfect for long walks in the morning. Yoga classes were held on the beach in the early evening. The highlight of our trip was the rental of a pontoon boat...reasonably priced and a great time cruising to Naples and having lunch at Pinchers Crab Shack! My only complaint was having to share two keys between four people...you need a key to get in and out to the beach, and a key to get into both the building and the unit (just made it difficult to do anything on your own.) Overall, a great time!"

  • Perfect location to relax and rejuvinate with family.

"Tom and Sue (owners of Mango Street home) were excellent about answering questions prior to our arrival so we knew exactly what to expect and bring with us. We were totally comfortable staying in their home for our family vacation. We had 8 adults so we filled every bedroom. The walk to the beach was easy to do. There were beach chairs, coolers and a cart to haul stuff to and fro in the garage to use which eliminated any additional rental costs to visit the beach. We didn't get to check out the little restaurant at the end of the street because they were being sprayed for termites... LOL. The covered pool area was perfect to get away from the beach and just float on a raft. Mango trees line the back of the pool area so some part of the pool is shaded nearly all day. A few of us rented bikes to trek up and down the beach. Everything you could want is within easy walking distance on the island but we chose to rent a minivan to get us around. We toured the area and checked out Jungle Erv's adventures... well worth the drive off the island! Thanks Tom and Sue for a great vacation!"

  • Well Appointed Corner Unit With Great Ocean View

"Very nice unit -- would recommend it. While not one of the direct, gulf-front units, it is the next nearest to the gulf and thus has a lanai open on 2 sides (most units are open only on one side) with an excellent view of the gulf and the sun setting over the other side of the building. The lanai furniture includes 2 very comfortable swivel chairs, as well as a four chair table. This is a top floor unit, giving it the vaulted ceilings/skylights that lower floor units do not have -- this makes a huge difference in the open feel of unit. Very nice. Unit overall is very well appointed. Very comfortable couches and bed. Great location relative to the beach and the pool. Parking is very convenient. Good location for off-island trips -- not very far from the causeway. After a brief power outage, an A/C unit on the roof began an annoying buzzing -- maintenance responded quickly and took care of it in a matter of a few hours. The only knock we would make is that the bathrooms could use an update -- at a minimum, the lighting (very dim) could be improved. Overall, very nice property. And virtually every square inch of Sanibel Island is just absolutely gorgeous."

  • Perfect Location!

"This was our first time visiting Marco Island and we did our research as to pick the best place to stay. I have to say that this condo was the best place to stay! The place was big, clean, and comfortable. We had 4 adults and 3 kids and there was plenty of room for everyone. They had everything we needed for the most part (had to buy toilet paper, as there was only one roll when we got there) but we went to the store for food and things so it was no biggie (we actually used some of the unused rolls of tp to wrap our shells in for travel home!) The beach is, like most reviews will tell you, ALL shell! You can find some pure sand in spots, but it is mostly shell. We found so many, we couldnt even handle all the shells we were finding. A few properties down the beach (we walked down to go parasailing) have pure sand, so if you need that you can always walk for it. We saw dophins from the beach, two were even chasing a fish it was cute. We saw a huge stingray jump out of the water, which was cool. There was a little one by the beach right by our feet, but it just swam off. Sand dollars, starfish, snails and crabs are all just about 15 ft from the beach - we loved it! The restaurant in the building is ok, it was pretty expensive so we only ate there once. Several places to eat around the island, but all are going to cost more than average. We went to the everaglades and did an airboat tour - probably our favorite thing! We also went deep sea fishing and shelling. I do have to say, if you stay here, you may not want to waste your money on a shelling trip, cause although its cool to take a boat to a deserted island, all the shells you find out there are right here on your beach! We didnt find anything different out there. But a fun boat ride. My family will definitly be back, and when we do, we will book this condo for sure - best one in the building."
