"The description and pictures do not do this property justice. This cottage is beautifully decorated and well maintained. You do not need anything other than your personal belongings and food as it has all the necessities you require: stocked kitchen utensils, quality linens and towels including beach towels, beach bag (thankfully since I forgot mine), chairs and beach toys. The location is perfect and within walking distance to restaurants, bike rentals, shopping, Topps Grocery and one of the local churches. The screened porch was the perfect place for breakfast in the mornings and cocktails in the evening while watching the most gorgeous sunsets you will ever see. There are numerous options for water sports/activities along the beach. We opted for bike rides, beach walks, reading and relaxing. The beach in front of the cottage is not as crowded as the area down by the pier. My husband and I have traveled to Ft Myers Beach numerous times. This was the first time at this property but we are already making plans for our next visit here. Thank you for sharing your slice of heaven on earth with us!"

"We were impressed that the home was only 300 steps to the beach. If you are planning a vacation during peak season this home is perfect. Park your car and walk or take the trolley to get to your destination. The home is extremely clean and offers every type of utensil imaginable for cooking. The kitchen is large enough for three people to be preparing meals at one time without getting in each others way.The pool area very nice but not much sunshine due to the trees and landscaping to keep it private. There is a plaza behind the home but not much noise. We are planning on returning again in September or October.
Carolyn was out of town during our arrival but her son made certain everything was ready upon our arrival. We took care of the home just as we do our own and left it at clean as possible on our departure. Stripped the linens and put them in the washer in appreciation of a good experience in renting. The only down side is there are a lot of stairs to a bathroom from the pool area. Highly Recommend."

If you're looking for hassle free, this is it.Super cool people, everything you need and want is within 150' of your front door. It's got a really cool little back porch that leads out to a canal too. The ceilings are low, but don't let deter you."

Perfect location to relax and rejuvinate with family.
"Tom and Sue (owners of Mango Street home) were excellent about answering questions prior to our arrival so we knew exactly what to expect and bring with us. We were totally comfortable staying in their home for our family vacation. We had 8 adults so we filled every bedroom.
The walk to the beach was easy to do. There were beach chairs, coolers and a cart to haul stuff to and fro in the garage to use which eliminated any additional rental costs to visit the beach.
We didn't get to check out the little restaurant at the end of the street because they were being sprayed for termites... LOL.
The covered pool area was perfect to get away from the beach and just float on a raft. Mango trees line the back of the pool area so some part of the pool is shaded nearly all day.
A few of us rented bikes to trek up and down the beach. Everything you could want is within easy walking distance on the island but we chose to rent a minivan to get us around. We toured the area and checked out Jungle Erv's adventures... well worth the drive off the island!
Thanks Tom and Sue for a great vacation!"
