  • New Year's On the Beach

"The house had the perfect location for our family. We could have not asked for better weather, mid 70s to low 80s all week! We loved the fact there was NO carpet in the house making the sand easier to vacuum up. It was nice to look out at the ocean as you were standing at the stove cooking. Louie's rental is right next door and willing to assist with chairs and umbrellas. Jet skis, banana boat, parasailing, etc., are all in front of the house. There are is a beer garden three doors down to the right, another a couple places down to the left. Hooters is literally behind you. The square is about a 10 minute or less walk, we enjoyed walking down for dinner then walking it off back to the house. Yucatans and Steamer's Oyster Brewery (SOB) were our two favorites."

  • Fabulous Family Vacation Home

"Sunset Paradise is a spectacular vacation home! Both inside and out, it reflects owner's pride and excellent taste. It was perfectly clean and sparkling when we arrived. We have rented a number of homes on the Gulf and this one has been the best. The new kitchen is beautiful and a pleasure to work in. We appreciated the organized cabinets and drawers which made food preparation so easy. It was a nice touch to have some basic seasonings in the cabinet as well as paper products which we replaced on our shopping trips. The four bedrooms each having a bathroom was a big plus. The decor of the house makes it very comfortable and enjoyable. Those beach towels are luxurious. The owner and property manager provided helpful information. They are efficient and friendly. This house is a big hit! It met all of our expectations and more! Our family had a wonderful week together. We especially enjoyed the short walk to the shore, the refreshing pool and the calming waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The sky is magnificent whether at sunset, daylight or even overcast and stormy. We dined at some great restaurants, too. We are grateful to have found this gem and hope to be back again. Our thanks for sharing your paradise with us!"

  • This place has it all!

"We were delighted with our accommodations. My husband and I woke with the sunrise each morning and ended our day with a beautiful sunset. There is a strip mall located directly across the street with no fewer than five restaurants and a daily farmer's market. We found the other guests to be warm and friendly, and the staff courteous and helpful; and our stretch of beach is one of the nicest we've stayed on. We're looking forward to going back again next year!"

  • Old Florida Paradise

"We left Chicago In January minutes before a blizzard hit and landed in Fort Myers with the best weather in the country. We arrived at the Beachfront Tortuga and discovered Paradise in Old Florida. The view took our breath away. This romantic location has everything: sparkling waves, walks along sugar sand beaches, gorgeous sunsets; all in the front yard. The galley kitchen is large and fully equipped with everything useful. There is ample dining seating for eight with additional seating on the deck. Beds are comfortable with flat screen televisions in every room. The master bedroom is beachside with a panoramic view of the water. Street side there is much off street parking and the noise from Estero Blvd. is minimal. Restaurants, stores and nightlife are very close. The two inside baths are recently renovated. There is an outside bath with shower in the laundry area which is very helpful. The front yard is nicely secluded, extremely quiet, peaceful and presents beautiful views of the Gulf of Mexico and its sunsets. The yard extends to the beach, has natural Florida landscaping and a brick bordered fire pit for those rare cool evenings. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning to paradise."
