  • Great views!

"My husband and I stayed here with our two daughters ages 4 and 7 for spring break. Bob was wonderful to work with and his description is very accurate. The condo is well maintained and had everything we needed. We really liked the included beach chairs and umbrella for taking down to the beach each day. We especially LOVED the convenience of the plaza across the street. There were many delicious resturants within walking distance as well as an icecream shop. We've stayed at various resorts (never again!) on fort Myers Beach but this area was so nice because it is far enough south that we were able to avoid the traffic and congestion when we left the condo for dinner each night. Thanks for a great vacation Bob! We will be back!!"

  • 1ST ANNUAL CHRISTMAS VACATION IN FORT MYERS BEACH, FL

"We were lucky enough to have stayed at this little cottage in paradise, to our surprise the cottage had been renovated & we were the 1st to stay. We had such a great trip, everything turned out as we had hoped if not better. The cottage is located within walking distance of all the shopping & restaurants. There is a trolley you can take for .50 cents. Andrea & Jeff were amazing people, thank you for having us-SEE YOU NEXT YEAR !"

  • Wonderful relaxtion on the beach!

"We were on a little road trip this summer and spent 8 days in this wonderful condo. We love this beach and condo! Really enjoyed 4th of July with the parade and fireworks on the beach. The owners were especially nice when I had to call them late on the night we arrived because I couldn't find the lock box information. Convenient location with grocery store across the street and some great restaurants nearby. We really enjoyed watching the sunsets and the thunderstorms out over the Gulf while chilling with a glass of wine on the porch. Loved it all and hope to be back soon."

  • A great stay in a very comfortable unit!

"We recently stayed in this Bay Village unit, 114, and our stay was all we could have hoped for. The unit was equipped with everything we could have wanted or needed. As others have written......it was like being at home away from home. The unit is very comfortable and there was nothing we felt we were missing. The view overlooking the lagoon was great.....and as the website reads, the fish were jumping. A big plus, was the ability to use the owners toys (beach chairs/umbrella, tennis rackets, bikes, fishing equipment etc). We hope to be able to return to this unit again on a future trip to For Myers Beach."

Fort Myers Beach Travel Tips

More than 6,200 people call Fort Myers Beach home. This town located on Estero Island wasn't officially incorporated until December 1995, making it a newer Floridian hotspot. Although Fort Myers Beach may be small, more than 1.8 million visitors flock there every year to enjoy the beaches, fishing, shopping, dining, golf and entertainment along the Gulf.

There's no undertow in Fort Myers Beach, making it the "World's Safest Beach" and perfect for families who want to get their toes wet. The entire island is 7 miles long, a nice walk or jog for those who want to work in a little exercise on their trip.

The area that was once home to Native Americans and Spaniards is a favorite among tourists who dine on "pink gold" shrimp and celebrate the fishing industry with the week-long Shrimp Festival held in March.

Fort Myers Beach Attractions

There's a lot to do on the tiny island of Estero including water sports, beach activities and outdoor and indoor attractions. There are 25 public beach accesses on the Gulf side of Estero Island that are marked for easy spotting.

You can stop by one of several playgrounds and parks in Fort Myers Beach. Head to Lynn Hall Memorial Park, where you can fish off of a 600-foot pier. Sports lovers can venture over to Bay Oaks Recreation Center for basketball, tennis and volleyball courts.

There are 17 acres of fun on the northern tip of Estero Island at Bowditch Point Regional Park. For more protected wildlife areas, check out the Matanzas Pass Wildlife Preserve with a restored cottage, 42 acres of wilderness and a sanctuary for native plants and animals. Seven acres are developed for a park and the rest remains part of a preservation. There are boardwalks that allow visitors to Estero Back Bay access to observe ospreys and pelicans as they fish for food. Kayaks and canoes are available at Oyster Bay and Lovers Key Barrier Island.
