  • Perfect condo.....perfect vacation!

"Our family was there the end of July and I'm so ready to go back already and I've not been home a week yet! The description is exactly as it says, only better. It was absolutely spotless, just enough room to have privacy if you wanted, but perfect seating for family fun! The owners were so gracious to allow us to be guests in their home.....I won't say condo because you could truly feel the love that is there. The sunsets were amazing....EVERY evening. The beach is as perfect as you could want with chair/umbrella rentals available. I highly recommend that you do that! You can enjoy your coffee on the balcony and watch them put yours out in the same spot every morning around 9:00 A.M. But if you aren't a beach bum like me, the pool on the grounds is perfect and immaculate. The restaurant choices there are numerous; something for everybody; including children. I could go on and on.....but you'll just need to experience this yourself. Thanks again, Jennifer and Ron. We came back with so many wonderful memories and will make more there in years to come, I pray."

  • Rubestar

"Very nice property, close walk to beautiful beach. Far enough away from busy Times Square to avoid noise, but close enough for a nice bike ride! Pool was clean, and totally enjoyable!! Ample size yard for children, or just to feel fairly private. Owner responds to inquiries quickly! Would recommend to families wanting to enjoy family time either at beach, or poolside!!"

  • Perfect getaway for rest and relaxation !

"The Kona Beach Club is an excellent property for rest and relaxation, the beach is right out the front door with lounge chairs and beach towels for your use. Located with in a ten minute walk on the beach or sidewalks to numerous restaurants and bars so you do not need to move your car once you arrive. The condo has plenty of space for a couple to relax and has everything you would need for an extended stay, full kitchen and a great couch, the bed is got to be the most comfortable one we have ever slept on ! I would highly recommend this property for consideration if you want to spend time on the beach in the Fort Myers Beach area. Lisa is a great owner and will answer any questions quickly and thoroughly. The unit was spotless upon our arrival and all appliances worked perfectly. We will definitely stay here again !"

  • Perfect Christmas Vacation!

"The description and pictures do not do this property justice. This cottage is beautifully decorated and well maintained. You do not need anything other than your personal belongings and food as it has all the necessities you require: stocked kitchen utensils, quality linens and towels including beach towels, beach bag (thankfully since I forgot mine), chairs and beach toys. The location is perfect and within walking distance to restaurants, bike rentals, shopping, Topps Grocery and one of the local churches. The screened porch was the perfect place for breakfast in the mornings and cocktails in the evening while watching the most gorgeous sunsets you will ever see. There are numerous options for water sports/activities along the beach. We opted for bike rides, beach walks, reading and relaxing. The beach in front of the cottage is not as crowded as the area down by the pier. My husband and I have traveled to Ft Myers Beach numerous times. This was the first time at this property but we are already making plans for our next visit here. Thank you for sharing your slice of heaven on earth with us!"

Fort Myers Beach Travel Tips

More than 6,200 people call Fort Myers Beach home. This town located on Estero Island wasn't officially incorporated until December 1995, making it a newer Floridian hotspot. Although Fort Myers Beach may be small, more than 1.8 million visitors flock there every year to enjoy the beaches, fishing, shopping, dining, golf and entertainment along the Gulf.

There's no undertow in Fort Myers Beach, making it the "World's Safest Beach" and perfect for families who want to get their toes wet. The entire island is 7 miles long, a nice walk or jog for those who want to work in a little exercise on their trip.

The area that was once home to Native Americans and Spaniards is a favorite among tourists who dine on "pink gold" shrimp and celebrate the fishing industry with the week-long Shrimp Festival held in March.

Fort Myers Beach Attractions

There's a lot to do on the tiny island of Estero including water sports, beach activities and outdoor and indoor attractions. There are 25 public beach accesses on the Gulf side of Estero Island that are marked for easy spotting.

You can stop by one of several playgrounds and parks in Fort Myers Beach. Head to Lynn Hall Memorial Park, where you can fish off of a 600-foot pier. Sports lovers can venture over to Bay Oaks Recreation Center for basketball, tennis and volleyball courts.

There are 17 acres of fun on the northern tip of Estero Island at Bowditch Point Regional Park. For more protected wildlife areas, check out the Matanzas Pass Wildlife Preserve with a restored cottage, 42 acres of wilderness and a sanctuary for native plants and animals. Seven acres are developed for a park and the rest remains part of a preservation. There are boardwalks that allow visitors to Estero Back Bay access to observe ospreys and pelicans as they fish for food. Kayaks and canoes are available at Oyster Bay and Lovers Key Barrier Island.
