  • Awesome!

"We went for spring break. My daughter and her friend took the trolley downtown to meet friends. We enjoyed our own private oasis in the back yard with the swimming pool and tiki bar. Nice and quiet but only a two moment walk to the beach. Great restaurants within a mile walking distance or take the trolley to Times Square. There is also a well equipped kitchen and gas grill to enjoy eating in as well. The house is nicely furnished with a great master bedroom and bath. Definitely plan on getting back there sometime."

  • Already Want to Go Back!

"We haven't been home a week yet and just seeing the pictures of this beautiful home on the website makes me want to go back! Eight of us (four couples in our 60s) thoroughly enjoyed our week at Casa De Cupre. The house is spacious, beautiful, and comfortable. Many homes advertised have plenty of bedrooms but not enough living room or dining room seating to actually be together; not here! Not only was the dining room table large enough to comfortably seat all of us, so was the table on the deck (umbrellas included!) so we could all eat together outside also, listening to the surf and enjoying the breeze. We made good use of amenities like the grill, beach chairs, beach towels, laundry facilities (laundry soap included), and a well-stocked kitchen. The beach is unbelievably close and absolutely beautiful! The 3 huge windows in the sitting area makes for a great ocean view, even when you're inside. We have been die-hard Sanibel Island fans, but this was a great home away from home and a wonderful location. Enjoyed the prime rib at Charley's Boat House down the street. Just don't forget to stop at Sun Harvest to stock up on fresh orange juice on the way from the airport or your trip won't be complete! I hope we can come back again!"

  • Perfect!!!!

"We had a wonderful stay at the sunrise beach cottage! The location is great, everything we needed was within a few minutes...grocery store, shops, restaurants. The house is directly on the beach, and it was not very crowded wich we really liked. The house was very very clean and 100% stocked with everything we needed. I was very glad to find a pet friendly beach and Barry was nice enough to let us take our 2 dogs and they too had a great time at the beach! Thank you so much for everything!"

Fort Myers Beach Travel Tips

More than 6,200 people call Fort Myers Beach home. This town located on Estero Island wasn't officially incorporated until December 1995, making it a newer Floridian hotspot. Although Fort Myers Beach may be small, more than 1.8 million visitors flock there every year to enjoy the beaches, fishing, shopping, dining, golf and entertainment along the Gulf.

There's no undertow in Fort Myers Beach, making it the "World's Safest Beach" and perfect for families who want to get their toes wet. The entire island is 7 miles long, a nice walk or jog for those who want to work in a little exercise on their trip.

The area that was once home to Native Americans and Spaniards is a favorite among tourists who dine on "pink gold" shrimp and celebrate the fishing industry with the week-long Shrimp Festival held in March.

Fort Myers Beach Attractions

There's a lot to do on the tiny island of Estero including water sports, beach activities and outdoor and indoor attractions. There are 25 public beach accesses on the Gulf side of Estero Island that are marked for easy spotting.

You can stop by one of several playgrounds and parks in Fort Myers Beach. Head to Lynn Hall Memorial Park, where you can fish off of a 600-foot pier. Sports lovers can venture over to Bay Oaks Recreation Center for basketball, tennis and volleyball courts.

There are 17 acres of fun on the northern tip of Estero Island at Bowditch Point Regional Park. For more protected wildlife areas, check out the Matanzas Pass Wildlife Preserve with a restored cottage, 42 acres of wilderness and a sanctuary for native plants and animals. Seven acres are developed for a park and the rest remains part of a preservation. There are boardwalks that allow visitors to Estero Back Bay access to observe ospreys and pelicans as they fish for food. Kayaks and canoes are available at Oyster Bay and Lovers Key Barrier Island.
