"We absolutely loved this beautiful home. Everything was exactly as promised. We enjoyed our Thanksgiving dinner just as if we were in our own home. The pool was great. The kids especially loved swimming at night with the pool lights on. Our time there just flew by. Can't wait to go back!"

  • Great Family Vacation

"Just as described we had a house full and still had a lot of space. The listing was extremely accurate... just like in the photos. We really liked the location away from the center of town... much more quiet but close enough to head up there when we wanted to. Excellent property for our grandchildren with the private pool and close to the beach for shelling. They were a bit nervous wading through the lagoon at first, but after a couple of days no problem. You have to sign up for a Dolphin tour at the Marina behind Publix... lots of Dolphins who chase the boat in quite a show! Would definitely recommend this property for family gatherings with children."

  • Great rental!

"You really can not go wrong renting this condo. The kitchen and floors have recently been updated, it is very clean and spacious, the kitchen is well stocked and the views are beautiful. The elevator is a bonus if you have a lot of luggage. We were 5 young 55+ females staying for a week and we thoroughly enjoyed the location, the beach and especially the lanai. We used the lanai every morning for breakfast and almost every evening for dinner or just sitting around playing cards, a game or just talking. It is one of the best features of the condo. The on sight agent was great, she met us there the first day and made sure we had everything we needed and encouraged us to call if we needed anything. Later in the day we found that we did not have beach chairs, we called Ann and she made sure we had chairs the next day. Very sweet lady. You can also tell that the homeowner's take a lot of pride in their property. The furnishing's are very nice and everything is well maintained. We will recommend Elevator to Paradise to family and friends."

  • Awesome!

"We went for spring break. My daughter and her friend took the trolley downtown to meet friends. We enjoyed our own private oasis in the back yard with the swimming pool and tiki bar. Nice and quiet but only a two moment walk to the beach. Great restaurants within a mile walking distance or take the trolley to Times Square. There is also a well equipped kitchen and gas grill to enjoy eating in as well. The house is nicely furnished with a great master bedroom and bath. Definitely plan on getting back there sometime."

Fort Myers Beach Travel Tips

More than 6,200 people call Fort Myers Beach home. This town located on Estero Island wasn't officially incorporated until December 1995, making it a newer Floridian hotspot. Although Fort Myers Beach may be small, more than 1.8 million visitors flock there every year to enjoy the beaches, fishing, shopping, dining, golf and entertainment along the Gulf.

There's no undertow in Fort Myers Beach, making it the "World's Safest Beach" and perfect for families who want to get their toes wet. The entire island is 7 miles long, a nice walk or jog for those who want to work in a little exercise on their trip.

The area that was once home to Native Americans and Spaniards is a favorite among tourists who dine on "pink gold" shrimp and celebrate the fishing industry with the week-long Shrimp Festival held in March.

Fort Myers Beach Attractions

There's a lot to do on the tiny island of Estero including water sports, beach activities and outdoor and indoor attractions. There are 25 public beach accesses on the Gulf side of Estero Island that are marked for easy spotting.

You can stop by one of several playgrounds and parks in Fort Myers Beach. Head to Lynn Hall Memorial Park, where you can fish off of a 600-foot pier. Sports lovers can venture over to Bay Oaks Recreation Center for basketball, tennis and volleyball courts.

There are 17 acres of fun on the northern tip of Estero Island at Bowditch Point Regional Park. For more protected wildlife areas, check out the Matanzas Pass Wildlife Preserve with a restored cottage, 42 acres of wilderness and a sanctuary for native plants and animals. Seven acres are developed for a park and the rest remains part of a preservation. There are boardwalks that allow visitors to Estero Back Bay access to observe ospreys and pelicans as they fish for food. Kayaks and canoes are available at Oyster Bay and Lovers Key Barrier Island.
