  • 1ST ANNUAL CHRISTMAS VACATION IN FORT MYERS BEACH, FL

"We were lucky enough to have stayed at this little cottage in paradise, to our surprise the cottage had been renovated & we were the 1st to stay. We had such a great trip, everything turned out as we had hoped if not better. The cottage is located within walking distance of all the shopping & restaurants. There is a trolley you can take for .50 cents. Andrea & Jeff were amazing people, thank you for having us-SEE YOU NEXT YEAR !"

  • Perfect Family Vacation Spot

"My husband and I spent 2 weeks at Gulf Breeze. Our children and grandchildren joined us for part of the time, and the house was perfect for all of us. The lower bedroom offered privacy for our adult children. The pool and spa area with 8 lounge chairs was spectacular and a big hit with everyone, young and old! We especially appreciated the safety features such as the raised door handles on the screened-in lanai and security gates on the upper deck, which kept the little ones safe. Every amenity was available to us: beach chairs and umbrellas, beach wagon, sand toys, cooler, grill, bikes, and lots of books for relaxed reading. The fact that we could easily cross the street to the beautiful beach with all our gear stowed in the wagon was a real plus - especially with 3 little ones in tow! The location is far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Times Square but many places (such as Publix supermarket and lots of great restaurants) are easily accessible via a short bike ride or walk. We loved starting and ending our day on the front porch overlooking Estero Blvd. The house and pool were very clean, and when we experienced a problem with the dishwasher, Todd sent his handyman right over to fix the issue. We hope to return to Gulf Breeze again soon. Thanks Todd and Mary for a wonderful vacation!"

  • Fantastic Family Vacation!

"My sister's family and my family stayed in this home for vacation. It was so great and child friendly! The one thing I wish we would have known before hand is that the lower apartment was cut off from the rest of the house, so we weren't able to utilize that extra bedroom, but we worked it out! The pool was beautiful and well maintained. The walk to the beach was short and easy! I'd come back in a heartbeat!"

Fort Myers Beach Travel Tips

More than 6,200 people call Fort Myers Beach home. This town located on Estero Island wasn't officially incorporated until December 1995, making it a newer Floridian hotspot. Although Fort Myers Beach may be small, more than 1.8 million visitors flock there every year to enjoy the beaches, fishing, shopping, dining, golf and entertainment along the Gulf.

There's no undertow in Fort Myers Beach, making it the "World's Safest Beach" and perfect for families who want to get their toes wet. The entire island is 7 miles long, a nice walk or jog for those who want to work in a little exercise on their trip.

The area that was once home to Native Americans and Spaniards is a favorite among tourists who dine on "pink gold" shrimp and celebrate the fishing industry with the week-long Shrimp Festival held in March.

Fort Myers Beach Attractions

There's a lot to do on the tiny island of Estero including water sports, beach activities and outdoor and indoor attractions. There are 25 public beach accesses on the Gulf side of Estero Island that are marked for easy spotting.
