  • Wow, what an amazing location and super roomy house!

"We absolutely loved this vacation house. You cannot ask for a nicer location on the beach. The catwalk from the house to the beach is dense with trees on either side and VERY private and quiet. Swimming was AWESOME with the sandy bottom and gradual drop off. We swam every morning up and down the beach. Heaven! The house itself has tons of room and is very comfortable AND very clean. The kitchen was well stocked with spices and extras like coffee filters, olive oil, etc. Clearly this house was someone's home with nice touches all around and tons of books. I think the photo of the front of the house doesn't do it justice. We would definitely stay here again! Hopefully, they will keep renting it. :)"

  • Special place!

"We had a lovely stay at this Ole property. Aside from Naples being a wonderful place to spend some time during winter, and Ole being a nice community in which to spend it, this condominium had everything we needed to make us feel welcome... and at home. Susan is gracious and generous. Delightful stay."

  • Almost Heaven on Earth

"My husband and I just returned from The Beach House at Manasota Key. We had an awesome week. The home is just as advertised with every possible amenity at your fingertips. We loved hanging out under the awning, enjoying the breeze and watching the water. We saw plenty of dolphins, usually right before a thunderstorm. Don't worry about the weather. Storms last for about 30 minutes max. The master suite is luxuriously furnished and the bed is one of the softest I've ever slept in. The biggest highlight for me was the totally enclosed outdoor shower. I never took a single shower in the house for the entire week! It was spectacular to shower outside with the privacy of the big mangrove tree and the dunes. We loved every minute of our vacation and would love to return as soon as possible. By the way, both owners go out of their way to make you feel so comfortable. Book your week right now!"

Fort Myers Beach Travel Tips

More than 6,200 people call Fort Myers Beach home. This town located on Estero Island wasn't officially incorporated until December 1995, making it a newer Floridian hotspot. Although Fort Myers Beach may be small, more than 1.8 million visitors flock there every year to enjoy the beaches, fishing, shopping, dining, golf and entertainment along the Gulf.

There's no undertow in Fort Myers Beach, making it the "World's Safest Beach" and perfect for families who want to get their toes wet. The entire island is 7 miles long, a nice walk or jog for those who want to work in a little exercise on their trip.

The area that was once home to Native Americans and Spaniards is a favorite among tourists who dine on "pink gold" shrimp and celebrate the fishing industry with the week-long Shrimp Festival held in March.

Fort Myers Beach Attractions

There's a lot to do on the tiny island of Estero including water sports, beach activities and outdoor and indoor attractions. There are 25 public beach accesses on the Gulf side of Estero Island that are marked for easy spotting.

You can stop by one of several playgrounds and parks in Fort Myers Beach. Head to Lynn Hall Memorial Park, where you can fish off of a 600-foot pier. Sports lovers can venture over to Bay Oaks Recreation Center for basketball, tennis and volleyball courts.

There are 17 acres of fun on the northern tip of Estero Island at Bowditch Point Regional Park. For more protected wildlife areas, check out the Matanzas Pass Wildlife Preserve with a restored cottage, 42 acres of wilderness and a sanctuary for native plants and animals. Seven acres are developed for a park and the rest remains part of a preservation. There are boardwalks that allow visitors to Estero Back Bay access to observe ospreys and pelicans as they fish for food. Kayaks and canoes are available at Oyster Bay and Lovers Key Barrier Island.
