  • November Trip

"We arrived in Fort Myers Beach on Saturday Nov 1 and stayed until Saturday Nov 8. The weather was beautiful (it never rained) and we walked the beach 3 to 4 times every day. It was so peaceful. The condo was clean and quiet, and the 3rd floor screened balcony overlooks the Gulf Of Mexico by mere yards. We saw many dolphin and we parasailed. I have been returning here for over 10 years, and we have never had a disappointing time. I so look forward to our next trip. Thank you for such a great vacation!!!!!!!"

  • Fantastic home, close to EVERYTHING, great owners!

"Our family (4 adults & 2 kids) stayed at this great home for 1 week. We can only say fantastic things about this place. Home is fully stocked: big flat screen tv, computer, wifi, linens, fully stocked kitchen - coffee maker, pots/pans - basically everything you need. Booking with Gary was a breeze and Rusty came by to change our bbq tank and make sure everything was okay during our stay. The location is phenomenal. 5 houses down is the access to the community dock. The guys had an amazing time - saw dolphins, manatees, sting rays, catfish and all other types of fish. We cannot wait to return, this house is a gem!"

  • FANTASTIC

"Perfect mini vacation for my friend and I. We LOVED the location and our home away from home. GORGEOUS beach a VERY short walk away. The cottagehad everything we wanted. Beach chairs, umbrella, well stocked kitchen. Washer dryer. Comfy, home . Karen was great to work with. Very promptly returned emails and super helpful. I recommend the tiki hut at the resort across the street, The Fresh Catch Bistro, Castaways for a fun bar and band and The Cottage.. STAY HERE!!"

  • Loved our stay

"We had a wonderful time in this condo. It was immaculately clean and so well stocked. Everything from the refrigerator to the stove and microwave were spotless. The bed linens were so nicely laundered and the bathrooms are also very clean. It is very homey and cozy. The whole stay was just great!! We hope to stay in this condo again in the near future."

Fort Myers Beach Travel Tips

More than 6,200 people call Fort Myers Beach home. This town located on Estero Island wasn't officially incorporated until December 1995, making it a newer Floridian hotspot. Although Fort Myers Beach may be small, more than 1.8 million visitors flock there every year to enjoy the beaches, fishing, shopping, dining, golf and entertainment along the Gulf.

There's no undertow in Fort Myers Beach, making it the "World's Safest Beach" and perfect for families who want to get their toes wet. The entire island is 7 miles long, a nice walk or jog for those who want to work in a little exercise on their trip.

The area that was once home to Native Americans and Spaniards is a favorite among tourists who dine on "pink gold" shrimp and celebrate the fishing industry with the week-long Shrimp Festival held in March.

Fort Myers Beach Attractions

There's a lot to do on the tiny island of Estero including water sports, beach activities and outdoor and indoor attractions. There are 25 public beach accesses on the Gulf side of Estero Island that are marked for easy spotting.

You can stop by one of several playgrounds and parks in Fort Myers Beach. Head to Lynn Hall Memorial Park, where you can fish off of a 600-foot pier. Sports lovers can venture over to Bay Oaks Recreation Center for basketball, tennis and volleyball courts.

There are 17 acres of fun on the northern tip of Estero Island at Bowditch Point Regional Park. For more protected wildlife areas, check out the Matanzas Pass Wildlife Preserve with a restored cottage, 42 acres of wilderness and a sanctuary for native plants and animals. Seven acres are developed for a park and the rest remains part of a preservation. There are boardwalks that allow visitors to Estero Back Bay access to observe ospreys and pelicans as they fish for food. Kayaks and canoes are available at Oyster Bay and Lovers Key Barrier Island.
