  • ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS vacation !!!!

"The four of us ( 2 forty somethin couples) had a fantastic vacation staying here. The condo is very well maintained and the owners have updated and decorated beautifully. The "little things" provided truly set this rental apart. K cups , awesome beach chairs, even a great cooler and water bottles! No packing beach towels either. Tom was very easy to work with and attentive. The condo is located at the quieter end, but a short distance to the busier areas and town. There is a trolley that can be used to get around if needed. Grocery nearby. The view from the beautiful lanai is breathtaking. We really enjoyed our morning coffee on the lanai and walks on the beach. The shelling was fantastic! We spent a few days just enjoying the beach thanks to the chairs, umbrella, and cooler. We can't wait for our next visit !!!!!"

  • Florida vacation

"It was everything the description said it was. There were 6 adults and 3 children and we all enjoyed the pool, the space and how close the beach was. We would recommend this property to our friends."

  • Totally Amazing!!

"As first time vacationers through VRBO we were a little unsure about the entire process. Would the condo be as described-would the whole rental process go smoothly? Well... my husband and I were pleasantly surprised! The condo, the views, the beach...all amazing!! Every positive comment others have written about this place is true. Bob was quick to respond to questions and sent the key along with helpful hints for your stay in the area. He even checked to make sure we arrived to the condo. The balcony has both sunrise and sunset views. The beach is a couple minute walk from the condo. We went on our morning walks on the beach and had fun looking for shells. There is a great ice cream shop right across the street at the plaza. The area is quiet and peaceful. We look forward to a return visit."

Fort Myers Beach Travel Tips

More than 6,200 people call Fort Myers Beach home. This town located on Estero Island wasn't officially incorporated until December 1995, making it a newer Floridian hotspot. Although Fort Myers Beach may be small, more than 1.8 million visitors flock there every year to enjoy the beaches, fishing, shopping, dining, golf and entertainment along the Gulf.

There's no undertow in Fort Myers Beach, making it the "World's Safest Beach" and perfect for families who want to get their toes wet. The entire island is 7 miles long, a nice walk or jog for those who want to work in a little exercise on their trip.

The area that was once home to Native Americans and Spaniards is a favorite among tourists who dine on "pink gold" shrimp and celebrate the fishing industry with the week-long Shrimp Festival held in March.

Fort Myers Beach Attractions

There's a lot to do on the tiny island of Estero including water sports, beach activities and outdoor and indoor attractions. There are 25 public beach accesses on the Gulf side of Estero Island that are marked for easy spotting.

You can stop by one of several playgrounds and parks in Fort Myers Beach. Head to Lynn Hall Memorial Park, where you can fish off of a 600-foot pier. Sports lovers can venture over to Bay Oaks Recreation Center for basketball, tennis and volleyball courts.

There are 17 acres of fun on the northern tip of Estero Island at Bowditch Point Regional Park. For more protected wildlife areas, check out the Matanzas Pass Wildlife Preserve with a restored cottage, 42 acres of wilderness and a sanctuary for native plants and animals. Seven acres are developed for a park and the rest remains part of a preservation. There are boardwalks that allow visitors to Estero Back Bay access to observe ospreys and pelicans as they fish for food. Kayaks and canoes are available at Oyster Bay and Lovers Key Barrier Island.
