  • Just like home!

"May I start by saying that from the moment my family and I unpacked we felt like we were at home! The house was beautifully decorated with a beach filled atmosphere. The location was perfect and the house had everything to make our many trips to the beach very convenient, including an outdoor shower to clean off all the sand. There was plenty of room for our family with 2 teenagers. I especially loved the spacious kitchen with all the amenities. The beautiful deck was quiet for my morning tea and perfect for enjoying company and wine!We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go and enjoy the town square. Helen, the owner was a pleasure to deal with when we had questions and made our arrival very pleasant. We will definitely be booking with her again."

  • Old Florida Paradise

"We left Chicago In January minutes before a blizzard hit and landed in Fort Myers with the best weather in the country. We arrived at the Beachfront Tortuga and discovered Paradise in Old Florida. The view took our breath away. This romantic location has everything: sparkling waves, walks along sugar sand beaches, gorgeous sunsets; all in the front yard. The galley kitchen is large and fully equipped with everything useful. There is ample dining seating for eight with additional seating on the deck. Beds are comfortable with flat screen televisions in every room. The master bedroom is beachside with a panoramic view of the water. Street side there is much off street parking and the noise from Estero Blvd. is minimal. Restaurants, stores and nightlife are very close. The two inside baths are recently renovated. There is an outside bath with shower in the laundry area which is very helpful. The front yard is nicely secluded, extremely quiet, peaceful and presents beautiful views of the Gulf of Mexico and its sunsets. The yard extends to the beach, has natural Florida landscaping and a brick bordered fire pit for those rare cool evenings. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning to paradise."

  • Quality and peaceful

"Perfect spot at the beach. Close to anything you could need. You literally have all the wants and needs right here. Even the beach chair and towels are available in unit or can rent if you don't want to carry. Spacious condo, 3 balconies direct view to the ocean. Re energize here. Pool was refreshing and walking distance by beach to 2 tiki bars. Beach staff courteous and even accommodated help with a couple in wheelchair to get over to beachside and returned them to condos. Will definitely come back next year ! thanks Joanne for beautiful accommodations!"

Fort Myers Beach Travel Tips

More than 6,200 people call Fort Myers Beach home. This town located on Estero Island wasn't officially incorporated until December 1995, making it a newer Floridian hotspot. Although Fort Myers Beach may be small, more than 1.8 million visitors flock there every year to enjoy the beaches, fishing, shopping, dining, golf and entertainment along the Gulf.

There's no undertow in Fort Myers Beach, making it the "World's Safest Beach" and perfect for families who want to get their toes wet. The entire island is 7 miles long, a nice walk or jog for those who want to work in a little exercise on their trip.

The area that was once home to Native Americans and Spaniards is a favorite among tourists who dine on "pink gold" shrimp and celebrate the fishing industry with the week-long Shrimp Festival held in March.

Fort Myers Beach Attractions

There's a lot to do on the tiny island of Estero including water sports, beach activities and outdoor and indoor attractions. There are 25 public beach accesses on the Gulf side of Estero Island that are marked for easy spotting.
