  • Love This Place!

"I've been coming to this condo for years. Every time I visit, the owners have made some kind of improvement. This time it was the master bath. It was beautiful! They also upgraded the blinds in the living room, and I noticed some new kitchen appliances as well. This is kind of funny. I've always visited as part of a girls getaway, which has always been fun, but this time I brought my daughter's family, which included my 3-year-old grandson, and it was just as wonderful for a young child. He loved the pool and the beach, and the second bedroom was perfect. Another nice thing is that it's close enough to walk to Times Square, but it's far enough away to be quiet when you want that also. That was especially good for our little guy. Can't wait for my next visit. I guess that says it all."

  • Personal Touch

"My husband woke up this morning (back in Indiana) and said "I can't hear the ocean!" If you want to go on a trip where you are made to feel welcome before you even get there; you need to rent from these kind, attentive people! They have thought of everything you may need while on your trip. The condo was nice and clean and we (of course) love the "quiet end". We were so lucky, we had beautiful weather, too! We would rent here again. Kathy G."

  • Christmas Surprise

"We surprised our 3 children with a vacation to Ft. Myers Beach for Christmas. This condo was perfect for our family. This was my 4th trip to Ft Myers Beach and my family's first. They loved every minute of our stay from our daily walks on the beach, to swimming in the Gulf, and heading to the pool mid afternoon. We had friends staying in other Bella Lago condos, so having the pool right there was a perfect meeting place. This condo worked well when we did have everyone (15 total) over for several dinners or if it was just the 5 of us. There was plenty of room to spread out. We even saw the New Year's Eve fireworks from the lanai:). We loved the fresh fruit stand, shops, restaurants, and marina just a quick walk up the road. Sunsets on the beach were the best! My family cannot wait to return to Ft. Myers Beach. We will definitely stay here again!"

  • Perfect!!!!

"We had a wonderful stay at the sunrise beach cottage! The location is great, everything we needed was within a few minutes...grocery store, shops, restaurants. The house is directly on the beach, and it was not very crowded wich we really liked. The house was very very clean and 100% stocked with everything we needed. I was very glad to find a pet friendly beach and Barry was nice enough to let us take our 2 dogs and they too had a great time at the beach! Thank you so much for everything!"

Fort Myers Beach Travel Tips

More than 6,200 people call Fort Myers Beach home. This town located on Estero Island wasn't officially incorporated until December 1995, making it a newer Floridian hotspot. Although Fort Myers Beach may be small, more than 1.8 million visitors flock there every year to enjoy the beaches, fishing, shopping, dining, golf and entertainment along the Gulf.

There's no undertow in Fort Myers Beach, making it the "World's Safest Beach" and perfect for families who want to get their toes wet. The entire island is 7 miles long, a nice walk or jog for those who want to work in a little exercise on their trip.

The area that was once home to Native Americans and Spaniards is a favorite among tourists who dine on "pink gold" shrimp and celebrate the fishing industry with the week-long Shrimp Festival held in March.

Fort Myers Beach Attractions

There's a lot to do on the tiny island of Estero including water sports, beach activities and outdoor and indoor attractions. There are 25 public beach accesses on the Gulf side of Estero Island that are marked for easy spotting.

You can stop by one of several playgrounds and parks in Fort Myers Beach. Head to Lynn Hall Memorial Park, where you can fish off of a 600-foot pier. Sports lovers can venture over to Bay Oaks Recreation Center for basketball, tennis and volleyball courts.

There are 17 acres of fun on the northern tip of Estero Island at Bowditch Point Regional Park. For more protected wildlife areas, check out the Matanzas Pass Wildlife Preserve with a restored cottage, 42 acres of wilderness and a sanctuary for native plants and animals. Seven acres are developed for a park and the rest remains part of a preservation. There are boardwalks that allow visitors to Estero Back Bay access to observe ospreys and pelicans as they fish for food. Kayaks and canoes are available at Oyster Bay and Lovers Key Barrier Island.
