  • BEST PALCE TO STAY! GREAT LOCATION!

"My friend an I stayed in this very nice apt. the week of July 5th, we were totally impressed with everything this apt. had to offer, it looks exactly like the photos! so close to everything, beaches, shopping, great restaurants, we did not drive our car the whole week we stayed here. The owners provided great communication checking in/out was a breeze. We will defiantly be back to stay. Thank you, Peter & Jill! We had a wonderful vacation we can't wait to come back!"

  • Perfect getaway for rest and relaxation !

"The Kona Beach Club is an excellent property for rest and relaxation, the beach is right out the front door with lounge chairs and beach towels for your use. Located with in a ten minute walk on the beach or sidewalks to numerous restaurants and bars so you do not need to move your car once you arrive. The condo has plenty of space for a couple to relax and has everything you would need for an extended stay, full kitchen and a great couch, the bed is got to be the most comfortable one we have ever slept on ! I would highly recommend this property for consideration if you want to spend time on the beach in the Fort Myers Beach area. Lisa is a great owner and will answer any questions quickly and thoroughly. The unit was spotless upon our arrival and all appliances worked perfectly. We will definitely stay here again !"

  • Quiet & Beautiful

"We had a Fantastic Stay in this condo! We did a late Fall Family vacation and couldn't have found a better place to stay!! The condo was everything we could ask for and more!! It was clean, roomy and full of upgrades...also had a washer/dryer in the condo!! The views of the gulf and the sunrises were just fabulous!! We walked the beach or Estero Blvd everyday!! The weather was great and the pool was well maintained too!! Loved the quiet location too....close to amenities, but far enough away that you didn't have to deal with all of the typical Beach traffic! Thank You Toby for sharing your beach getaway!!"

  • Best vacation home we have had so far

"I can only echo all the positive comments on the house, its cleanliness, its location, and the commitment and kindness from the owner Tedd. In fact this is probably the best vacation home our family has stayed in so far (and we have tried quite a few). We absolutely loved the back yard with the heated pool, the gazebo and the fantastic view.... and the of course the dolphins. You get to see these wonderful creatures right below the pool deck - one day one of the dolphins threw a fish on the pool deck - amazing. The two kayaks are great for a trip in the lagoon - here we spotted sting rays and lots of other fish in the clear water. The beach across the street is great - huge, beautiful white sand, and very few people, and there is a Marina in walking distance where you can rent a boat and go sailing/fishing in the Gulf We will most defintiely stay in this house again if we ever get near Fort Myers again - i hope we do!"

Fort Myers Beach Travel Tips

More than 6,200 people call Fort Myers Beach home. This town located on Estero Island wasn't officially incorporated until December 1995, making it a newer Floridian hotspot. Although Fort Myers Beach may be small, more than 1.8 million visitors flock there every year to enjoy the beaches, fishing, shopping, dining, golf and entertainment along the Gulf.

There's no undertow in Fort Myers Beach, making it the "World's Safest Beach" and perfect for families who want to get their toes wet. The entire island is 7 miles long, a nice walk or jog for those who want to work in a little exercise on their trip.

The area that was once home to Native Americans and Spaniards is a favorite among tourists who dine on "pink gold" shrimp and celebrate the fishing industry with the week-long Shrimp Festival held in March.

Fort Myers Beach Attractions

There's a lot to do on the tiny island of Estero including water sports, beach activities and outdoor and indoor attractions. There are 25 public beach accesses on the Gulf side of Estero Island that are marked for easy spotting.

You can stop by one of several playgrounds and parks in Fort Myers Beach. Head to Lynn Hall Memorial Park, where you can fish off of a 600-foot pier. Sports lovers can venture over to Bay Oaks Recreation Center for basketball, tennis and volleyball courts.

There are 17 acres of fun on the northern tip of Estero Island at Bowditch Point Regional Park. For more protected wildlife areas, check out the Matanzas Pass Wildlife Preserve with a restored cottage, 42 acres of wilderness and a sanctuary for native plants and animals. Seven acres are developed for a park and the rest remains part of a preservation. There are boardwalks that allow visitors to Estero Back Bay access to observe ospreys and pelicans as they fish for food. Kayaks and canoes are available at Oyster Bay and Lovers Key Barrier Island.
