  • Blessed in Paradise

"This beautiful penthouse has all the comforts of home and the decor is absolutely lovely. We felt so relaxed there and we had everything we needed to make our visit very enjoyable. The views from the balcony were spectacular! We were just steps from the beach, so we would walk for miles and enjoy all that Ft. Myers Beach had to offer. It was quiet in the penthouse and on the grounds. The owner was so kind and generous! We were so blessed by her and all of her attention to details. We look forward to staying here again. Thank you Gina for everything we sincerely appreciate it very much!"

  • Paradise at the Pink Haus

"Our first major road trip with our kids was to Ft. Myers Beach and to the Pink Haus. Their first experience with the ocean was right outside in the backyard of this incredible location. It was amazing! The house is so nicely tucked away (from the front and back) that you feel a great amount of privacy but the ocean view is stunning. Our boys loved it and we felt so at home. We loved the decor in the home (the colors and artwork were incredible...wish i was as creative!). The pictures really don't do it justice here. I took my own pictures of every room just so I could remember it all! It was very tough to leave this gorgeous place. We will be back in the future, that is a sure thing! Thank you for an amazing time!!!"

  • Awesome Condo with everything you need for a great vacation.

"This Condo could not have worked out better for my family and 2 friends. It is very spacious with everything needed for our week vacation with a great pool and hot tub that was never that busy. The private beach was great where we found sand dollars, starfish and several types of shells. The best part was that it is on Fort Myers Beach Island far enough away from downtown but close enough for the kids to take the bus. In the morning and night the screened in porch was awesome and relaxing over looking the pool and pond. They even have a community Weber grill for cooking out as well. This felt like home for all of us and the beds slept great for everyone. If we return to Fort Myers Beach again we will rent here again. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!"

Fort Myers Beach Travel Tips

More than 6,200 people call Fort Myers Beach home. This town located on Estero Island wasn't officially incorporated until December 1995, making it a newer Floridian hotspot. Although Fort Myers Beach may be small, more than 1.8 million visitors flock there every year to enjoy the beaches, fishing, shopping, dining, golf and entertainment along the Gulf.

There's no undertow in Fort Myers Beach, making it the "World's Safest Beach" and perfect for families who want to get their toes wet. The entire island is 7 miles long, a nice walk or jog for those who want to work in a little exercise on their trip.

The area that was once home to Native Americans and Spaniards is a favorite among tourists who dine on "pink gold" shrimp and celebrate the fishing industry with the week-long Shrimp Festival held in March.

Fort Myers Beach Attractions

There's a lot to do on the tiny island of Estero including water sports, beach activities and outdoor and indoor attractions. There are 25 public beach accesses on the Gulf side of Estero Island that are marked for easy spotting.

You can stop by one of several playgrounds and parks in Fort Myers Beach. Head to Lynn Hall Memorial Park, where you can fish off of a 600-foot pier. Sports lovers can venture over to Bay Oaks Recreation Center for basketball, tennis and volleyball courts.

There are 17 acres of fun on the northern tip of Estero Island at Bowditch Point Regional Park. For more protected wildlife areas, check out the Matanzas Pass Wildlife Preserve with a restored cottage, 42 acres of wilderness and a sanctuary for native plants and animals. Seven acres are developed for a park and the rest remains part of a preservation. There are boardwalks that allow visitors to Estero Back Bay access to observe ospreys and pelicans as they fish for food. Kayaks and canoes are available at Oyster Bay and Lovers Key Barrier Island.
