  • Beach Bungalow

"Twenty years later our special spot on Ft Myers Beach was revisited at Kona. The tranquility of the beach outside our front door, the sunsets & the perfectly quaint bungalow suite provided us the most memorable anniversary week. We loved the beach themed decor, drinking our coffee hearing the waves, preparing meals in the furnished kitchen & ending our day in the most comfy bed. It was a fabulous week! Thank you Teresa :)"

  • A Dream Vacation Directly on the Beach

"My girlfriends and I were looking for a place right on the beach. We wanted to walk down the stairs right to the sand. This was the perfect location! Walking or jogging on the beach, searching for the perfect seashells, and shops/restaurants/bars were all so easily accessible from this location. The sunsets are incredible and you can get some amazing shots right in front of the house. We saw wild dolphins right before our eyes. The Beach Pub next door plays great music (live or otherwise) for beach time and it's quiet at night. The home has everything you could need, it's very clean, it has plenty of space and the owner was very accommodating. Even if it gets too hot, you can sit in the porch and see the beach and glistening water. You can relax in the private beach area or go be part of the action. I would recommend this to everyone and we can't wait to visit again. It is the perfect setting for a dream beach vacation!!"

Very clean and well kept with comfortable beds is a deciding factor when you are on vacation, we give this a big thumbs up! We enjoyed the ocean views form the condo balcony's morning, noon and night! Beach walks and time to enjoying the ocean make this a great location, we even saw dolphins swimming nearby. Fort Myers Beach Travel Tips

More than 6,200 people call Fort Myers Beach home. This town located on Estero Island wasn't officially incorporated until December 1995, making it a newer Floridian hotspot. Although Fort Myers Beach may be small, more than 1.8 million visitors flock there every year to enjoy the beaches, fishing, shopping, dining, golf and entertainment along the Gulf.

There's no undertow in Fort Myers Beach, making it the "World's Safest Beach" and perfect for families who want to get their toes wet. The entire island is 7 miles long, a nice walk or jog for those who want to work in a little exercise on their trip.

The area that was once home to Native Americans and Spaniards is a favorite among tourists who dine on "pink gold" shrimp and celebrate the fishing industry with the week-long Shrimp Festival held in March.

Fort Myers Beach Attractions

There's a lot to do on the tiny island of Estero including water sports, beach activities and outdoor and indoor attractions. There are 25 public beach accesses on the Gulf side of Estero Island that are marked for easy spotting.
