  • You will come back

"This is our 2nd time staying in Palm grove. It is was better than we remembered. Wonderful home and great location. Todd and Mary are wonderful owners. They really go above and beyond for their guests. The house is well equipped and they even have lots of outdoor and beach equipment. Love the pool and spa and they have it lit up beautiful at night. My husband, 3 doggies and I loved it and will be back."

  • This place has it all!

"We were delighted with our accommodations. My husband and I woke with the sunrise each morning and ended our day with a beautiful sunset. There is a strip mall located directly across the street with no fewer than five restaurants and a daily farmer's market. We found the other guests to be warm and friendly, and the staff courteous and helpful; and our stretch of beach is one of the nicest we've stayed on. We're looking forward to going back again next year!"

  • Great rental!

"You really can not go wrong renting this condo. The kitchen and floors have recently been updated, it is very clean and spacious, the kitchen is well stocked and the views are beautiful. The elevator is a bonus if you have a lot of luggage. We were 5 young 55+ females staying for a week and we thoroughly enjoyed the location, the beach and especially the lanai. We used the lanai every morning for breakfast and almost every evening for dinner or just sitting around playing cards, a game or just talking. It is one of the best features of the condo. The on sight agent was great, she met us there the first day and made sure we had everything we needed and encouraged us to call if we needed anything. Later in the day we found that we did not have beach chairs, we called Ann and she made sure we had chairs the next day. Very sweet lady. You can also tell that the homeowner's take a lot of pride in their property. The furnishing's are very nice and everything is well maintained. We will recommend Elevator to Paradise to family and friends."

"Having stayed here before, I was excited at the opportunity for some true R & R, and the Riptide was just perfect! Conveniently located, comfortable, clean & classy, it was a true vacation. Tom, the property manager was so helpful with every little thing. It was so nice to be within walking distance of so many great shops & restaurants. I would recommend the Riptide to anyone!"

Fort Myers Beach Travel Tips

More than 6,200 people call Fort Myers Beach home. This town located on Estero Island wasn't officially incorporated until December 1995, making it a newer Floridian hotspot. Although Fort Myers Beach may be small, more than 1.8 million visitors flock there every year to enjoy the beaches, fishing, shopping, dining, golf and entertainment along the Gulf.

There's no undertow in Fort Myers Beach, making it the "World's Safest Beach" and perfect for families who want to get their toes wet. The entire island is 7 miles long, a nice walk or jog for those who want to work in a little exercise on their trip.

The area that was once home to Native Americans and Spaniards is a favorite among tourists who dine on "pink gold" shrimp and celebrate the fishing industry with the week-long Shrimp Festival held in March.

Fort Myers Beach Attractions

There's a lot to do on the tiny island of Estero including water sports, beach activities and outdoor and indoor attractions. There are 25 public beach accesses on the Gulf side of Estero Island that are marked for easy spotting.

You can stop by one of several playgrounds and parks in Fort Myers Beach. Head to Lynn Hall Memorial Park, where you can fish off of a 600-foot pier. Sports lovers can venture over to Bay Oaks Recreation Center for basketball, tennis and volleyball courts.

There are 17 acres of fun on the northern tip of Estero Island at Bowditch Point Regional Park. For more protected wildlife areas, check out the Matanzas Pass Wildlife Preserve with a restored cottage, 42 acres of wilderness and a sanctuary for native plants and animals. Seven acres are developed for a park and the rest remains part of a preservation. There are boardwalks that allow visitors to Estero Back Bay access to observe ospreys and pelicans as they fish for food. Kayaks and canoes are available at Oyster Bay and Lovers Key Barrier Island.
