  • Awesome Vacation!

"We are already talking about our next trip to this beautiful condo and slice of paradise! The condo had everything imaginable to make our stay comfortable. The location is ideal, close to grocery stores, restaurants, and shopping. The amazing beach is steps away. Anxious to return!"

  • Perfect Location

"We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful condo. So cute and comfortable. Loved walking on the beach every morning as it is right outside the back door and adjoins Lovers Key State Park. Deb was very helpful and always got back to us quickly. Wish we could have stayed longer."

  • Love This Place!

"I've been coming to this condo for years. Every time I visit, the owners have made some kind of improvement. This time it was the master bath. It was beautiful! They also upgraded the blinds in the living room, and I noticed some new kitchen appliances as well. This is kind of funny. I've always visited as part of a girls getaway, which has always been fun, but this time I brought my daughter's family, which included my 3-year-old grandson, and it was just as wonderful for a young child. He loved the pool and the beach, and the second bedroom was perfect. Another nice thing is that it's close enough to walk to Times Square, but it's far enough away to be quiet when you want that also. That was especially good for our little guy. Can't wait for my next visit. I guess that says it all."

  • Everything we'd hoped for and more!

"If you like what you see in the pictures and read in the description, you will not be disappointed. This is a beautiful very well kept condo that had great space for our family of 5, which includes 2 adults and 3 kids (ages 13, 10, & 8). We utilized much that was provided in the condo - beach towels, sand toys, beach chairs, beach mats, beach umbrella, map in the walk in closet, hangers, dishes, hair dryer, laundry baskets...so many extras that made our stay easier and fun. We didn't feel the need to dine out much, because the screened in patio granted us a great view for every meal. We did grill there on the condo grounds, and that was the perfect setting. If you want to eat out there are many options. The views are amazing, and we could enjoy them from the master bedroom, the patio, the living room, the kitchen, the lawn right below our balcony, and the grilling area. We had great weather. After day one we turned off the air conditioning and took advantage of the breeze that passed right through the condo. That allowed us to keep the master bedroom window open to fall asleep and wake up to the sounds of the ocean each day. A real treat for someone from Ohio! Shelling on the beach right in front of us provided a wide array of treasures that we had to make room for in the suitcase before flying home. We were also treated to seeing dolphins in the water right in front of the complex every day. Every day! Not sure if that happens year round, but it delighted us each time. We like the location - a few miles south of the "busy" area of beach shops, restaurants, public beach, and long pier. This condo's neighbors are more residential, and it is a peaceful safe feeling area for a family. We had a wonderful time and recommend this rental very highly."

Fort Myers Beach Travel Tips

More than 6,200 people call Fort Myers Beach home. This town located on Estero Island wasn't officially incorporated until December 1995, making it a newer Floridian hotspot. Although Fort Myers Beach may be small, more than 1.8 million visitors flock there every year to enjoy the beaches, fishing, shopping, dining, golf and entertainment along the Gulf.

There's no undertow in Fort Myers Beach, making it the "World's Safest Beach" and perfect for families who want to get their toes wet. The entire island is 7 miles long, a nice walk or jog for those who want to work in a little exercise on their trip.

The area that was once home to Native Americans and Spaniards is a favorite among tourists who dine on "pink gold" shrimp and celebrate the fishing industry with the week-long Shrimp Festival held in March.

Fort Myers Beach Attractions

There's a lot to do on the tiny island of Estero including water sports, beach activities and outdoor and indoor attractions. There are 25 public beach accesses on the Gulf side of Estero Island that are marked for easy spotting.

You can stop by one of several playgrounds and parks in Fort Myers Beach. Head to Lynn Hall Memorial Park, where you can fish off of a 600-foot pier. Sports lovers can venture over to Bay Oaks Recreation Center for basketball, tennis and volleyball courts.

There are 17 acres of fun on the northern tip of Estero Island at Bowditch Point Regional Park. For more protected wildlife areas, check out the Matanzas Pass Wildlife Preserve with a restored cottage, 42 acres of wilderness and a sanctuary for native plants and animals. Seven acres are developed for a park and the rest remains part of a preservation. There are boardwalks that allow visitors to Estero Back Bay access to observe ospreys and pelicans as they fish for food. Kayaks and canoes are available at Oyster Bay and Lovers Key Barrier Island.

Things to Do in Fort Myers Beach

Lovers Key State Park: Lovers Key is one of four barrier islands that make up the park.
