  • The best experience

"We stayed at this owner's 2 bedroom-Beachfront Beauty and now tried Island Sunsets I. Another wonderful experience in every way. The views and sunsets were out of this world. The location, with Santini Plaza across the street was ideal. Just stroll over to the restaurant, boat rental and everything you would need in the Plaza. The fully equiped kitchen in the condo and tennis racquets (for the clay tennis courts) were a plus. The condo furnishings and comfort get an A+. Thank you Diane for another fabulous stay."

  • Great House for Family Vacation

"We had a family vacation with 6 adults and 3 small children. We had enough space for everyone. The children especially loved the pool and the lanai was great for family meals. We had a problem with a bedroom ceiling fan and the owner was very responsive and had it replaced while we were there. We were happy to find equipment such as beach chairs and sand toys available for use. I would recommend this property to friends."

  • Spectacular!

"The owners of this condo have put up a terrific rental property. We absolutely loved the view and the resort itself was just right! Great Pool and hot tub, nice restaurant. We had a small issue with one of the TV's and the owners (Who we personally met in the restaurant) insisted they come up and look at it and even seriously offered their own TV when we couldn't get it to work! Who wants two TVs up in that condo anyway!!! (We respectfully declined.)The beach was an easy walk away and one of the best shelling beaches we have explored along the Atlantic Coast, Bahamas, and west coast Florida. We only wish we could book this place during the winter times that it is blacked out. Maybe in the next year. We highly recommend!"

  • Excellent experience! Spacious! Beautifully furnished condo!

"This was the first time we booked lodging at anything other than a hotel for a vacation and were completely satisifed with our experience. The pictures on the website do not do this condo justice! Spotless, beautifully decorated, fully furnished and very spacious! We traveled over Spring Break to Fort Myers Beach with our two teenage daughters and were pleasantly surprised by the accomodations. We had other family who stayed in a hotel down the road right on the beach, but they had very little space in their cramped hotel room. We had everyone over for dinner (plenty of plates, silverware, dishes, pots and pans) twice and were able to spread out with enough room for everyone. Very large outdoor pool, covered parking, friendly people. Our kids had their own bedroom and bathroom. Walk-in closets in the spacious master bedroom and 2nd bedroom. Beautiful scenic views through patio doors that stretch across the width of the entire condo. Plenty of towels, sheets, pillows, etc. and a washer and dryer right on the lanai, which was really convenient. A car is necessary to travel around to the beaches, but the property is very easily accessed from Estero Blvd. We went parasailing, rented wave runners, drove to Sanibel Island and went shelling, visited 4 different beaches, and had plenty of good food and drink! There is also a trolley/bus line that runs right down Estero Blvd, with plenty of bus stops, so the 5 teenagers that were part of our group took the trolley into the Town Square for shopping, to watch the sunset and enjoy Italian Ice several times without the adults, which they loved! This condo is far enough south on Estero so that the traffic was not overwhelming, but close enough to drive into town or take the trolley anytime. Our security deposit was returned within 3 days of our return home and the owners were friendly, helpful, and very accommodating. We would definitely return to the same rental property and would not trade this experience for any other. Thank you for a truly WONDERFUL vacation!!"

Fort Myers Beach Travel Tips

More than 6,200 people call Fort Myers Beach home. This town located on Estero Island wasn't officially incorporated until December 1995, making it a newer Floridian hotspot. Although Fort Myers Beach may be small, more than 1.8 million visitors flock there every year to enjoy the beaches, fishing, shopping, dining, golf and entertainment along the Gulf.

There's no undertow in Fort Myers Beach, making it the "World's Safest Beach" and perfect for families who want to get their toes wet. The entire island is 7 miles long, a nice walk or jog for those who want to work in a little exercise on their trip.

The area that was once home to Native Americans and Spaniards is a favorite among tourists who dine on "pink gold" shrimp and celebrate the fishing industry with the week-long Shrimp Festival held in March.

Fort Myers Beach Attractions

There's a lot to do on the tiny island of Estero including water sports, beach activities and outdoor and indoor attractions. There are 25 public beach accesses on the Gulf side of Estero Island that are marked for easy spotting.

For more protected wildlife areas, check out the Matanzas Pass Wildlife Preserve with a restored cottage, 42 acres of wilderness and a sanctuary for native plants and animals. Seven acres are developed for a park and the rest remains part of a preservation. There are boardwalks that allow visitors to Estero Back Bay access to observe ospreys and pelicans as they fish for food. Kayaks and canoes are available at Oyster Bay and Lovers Key Barrier Island.
