  • Great beach Get-Away!

"This is our 2nd time of staying here and once again, a great time had by all!! The house is everything one could ask for while at the beach including the pool, dolphins in the canal, walking distance to many of things, and just a relaxing time! Love the location to the beach and the tiki bar across the street. Will definitely stay here again next year!! Thanks!!!"

  • Enjoyed the Condo

"We had a great time! The condo was very clean and was perfect size for what we needed! It was very convenient getting to garage, and to pool! Enjoyed the beach, fishing and ate at some great restaurants! Our favorite was Fresh Catch Bistro and Pinchers for night life! Also, enjoyed trips to Naples, Marco Island, and Bonita Springs which were short jaunts! Thank you! Cindy"

  • It was the best yet!

"My husband and I wanted a getaway from snow and cold and also had business in Fort Myers. This was the best of both worlds. Early morning walks on the beach, breakfast on the 11th floor balcony overlooking the quite private beach....busy days ahead then escaping back to this slice of paradise! Extremely well equipped and quiet with friendly folks to meet every day. (written by wife for husband since I type faster)"

  • beachfront fun in the sun

"Tonya was very accommodating with our arrival here as we were moving from another condo. Was great to be on the beach and next door to entertainment as well. Great location - close to the plaza with everything and drug store across the street. Beach is beautiful and great for long walks. Condo was perfect for the four of us and would recommend to anyone looking for a great getaway!"

Fort Myers Beach Travel Tips

More than 6,200 people call Fort Myers Beach home. This town located on Estero Island wasn't officially incorporated until December 1995, making it a newer Floridian hotspot. Although Fort Myers Beach may be small, more than 1.8 million visitors flock there every year to enjoy the beaches, fishing, shopping, dining, golf and entertainment along the Gulf.

There's no undertow in Fort Myers Beach, making it the "World's Safest Beach" and perfect for families who want to get their toes wet. The entire island is 7 miles long, a nice walk or jog for those who want to work in a little exercise on their trip.

The area that was once home to Native Americans and Spaniards is a favorite among tourists who dine on "pink gold" shrimp and celebrate the fishing industry with the week-long Shrimp Festival held in March.

Fort Myers Beach Attractions

There's a lot to do on the tiny island of Estero including water sports, beach activities and outdoor and indoor attractions. There are 25 public beach accesses on the Gulf side of Estero Island that are marked for easy spotting.

You can stop by one of several playgrounds and parks in Fort Myers Beach. Head to Lynn Hall Memorial Park, where you can fish off of a 600-foot pier. Sports lovers can venture over to Bay Oaks Recreation Center for basketball, tennis and volleyball courts.

There are 17 acres of fun on the northern tip of Estero Island at Bowditch Point Regional Park. For more protected wildlife areas, check out the Matanzas Pass Wildlife Preserve with a restored cottage, 42 acres of wilderness and a sanctuary for native plants and animals. Seven acres are developed for a park and the rest remains part of a preservation. There are boardwalks that allow visitors to Estero Back Bay access to observe ospreys and pelicans as they fish for food. Kayaks and canoes are available at Oyster Bay and Lovers Key Barrier Island.
