  • Awesome vacation

"We just had a awesome vacation!! The house is lovely with a lot of old time character, it is also very nicely decorated and very clean. We are a party of 5 and had lots of room. I loved the outside pool and the back yard! It was like a secret little paradise! The house is also in a quaint little town that is full of charm of its own! What a nice place lots to do, a park across the street with perfect sunsets and great restaurants within walking distance. It is also the perfect spot to for going off to other areas. while staying at the house we rented a boat and made it to cabbage key and Sanibel island for a day of shelling!"

  • Awesome Vacation Place

"We stayed 5 nights 12/27/14-01/01/15. Great clean, beautiful condo. We spent a lot of time exploring Siesta Key, went to Venice Beach and Mote aquarium. Went on awesome boat tour at the aquarium seen Dolphins and a lot of different birds. Was able to get to the beach for a sunset one night, it was gorgeous. We have a nine year old boy who loved the pool and the awesome beach. For the most part had beautiful weather. Will definitely be back."

  • WE'LL VISIT AGAIN AND AGAIN!!!

"Oh my - if we weren't repeat guests to your lovely condo - that review would certainly have us worried. We have never found your condo anything less than pristine in our last 3 visits and we are happy to say - this last stay was no exception. This is why we continue to book with you, we know what to expect and you never disappoint. Plus, Nancy is so friendly and easy to work with - she gives us suggestions for new restaurants to try - although by now we have our own favorites! Your condo is perfectly located, so close to the beach and pool. We love to grill burgers for lunch while we swim. This year we went to Doc Ford's which wasn't opened last time we were on the island. We loved it but Key Lime Bistro remains our favorite spot for island flair! We have recommended your condo to several of our friends - my cousin and his family are coming for a visit in June. I took pictures during our stay to assure him that everything in your condo is fine. They can't wait! We will be contacting you shortly to book our holiday trip."

  • Great Home

"Our family spent 2 weeks enjoying this beautiful home. The layout was perfect for our visit and the owners had all the extras needed for our grandchild. The neighborhood is very peaceful yet close to everything. (Try Cassariano Italian Eatery in Venice for a delicious meal.) We loved having our coffee on the lanai each morning and watching the golf course activity. We look forward to coming back to stay in the future!"

Fort Myers Beach Travel Tips

More than 6,200 people call Fort Myers Beach home. This town located on Estero Island wasn't officially incorporated until December 1995, making it a newer Floridian hotspot. Although Fort Myers Beach may be small, more than 1.8 million visitors flock there every year to enjoy the beaches, fishing, shopping, dining, golf and entertainment along the Gulf.

There's no undertow in Fort Myers Beach, making it the "World's Safest Beach" and perfect for families who want to get their toes wet. The entire island is 7 miles long, a nice walk or jog for those who want to work in a little exercise on their trip.

The area that was once home to Native Americans and Spaniards is a favorite among tourists who dine on "pink gold" shrimp and celebrate the fishing industry with the week-long Shrimp Festival held in March.

Fort Myers Beach Attractions

There's a lot to do on the tiny island of Estero including water sports, beach activities and outdoor and indoor attractions. There are 25 public beach accesses on the Gulf side of Estero Island that are marked for easy spotting.

You can stop by one of several playgrounds and parks in Fort Myers Beach. Head to Lynn Hall Memorial Park, where you can fish off of a 600-foot pier. Sports lovers can venture over to Bay Oaks Recreation Center for basketball, tennis and volleyball courts.

There are 17 acres of fun on the northern tip of Estero Island at Bowditch Point Regional Park. For more protected wildlife areas, check out the Matanzas Pass Wildlife Preserve with a restored cottage, 42 acres of wilderness and a sanctuary for native plants and animals. Seven acres are developed for a park and the rest remains part of a preservation. There are boardwalks that allow visitors to Estero Back Bay access to observe ospreys and pelicans as they fish for food. Kayaks and canoes are available at Oyster Bay and Lovers Key Barrier Island.

Things to Do in Fort Myers Beach

Lovers Key State Park: Lovers Key is one of four barrier islands that make up the park. Bottlenose dolphins, West Indian manatees, marsh rabbits, roseate spoonbills and bald eagles call these waters and land home. The 2-mile-long beach is popular for shelling, swimming, picnicking and sunning. Over at Black Island you can enjoy 5 miles of hiking and bicycling.

Shopping: Plenty of shopping is available in Fort Myers Beach and Estero Island including antiques, custom-made souvenirs, clothing and jewelry. Tanger Outlet Center features more than 40 brands including Nike, Coach, Coldwater Creek, Gap and more.

Water sports: If you want to get out and channel your inner thrillseeker, try any of the many watersports available in Fort Myers Beach. You can see the town from the sky with a helicopter sightseeing tour or Paradise Parasail Inc. Go on exciting tours with Good Time Charters, Fort Myers Fishing Adventures and FishSkinner Charters.
