"My husband and I spent a lovely 3 weeks at this condo in BacBay located right across the main thoroughfare from the beautiful, clean, white-sanded beach. A pedestrian crossing makes it quite simple to cross the road. This is a perfect location with a shopping plaza within walking distance and also a lot of great restaurants. There is also a 7-11 and a CVS for convenience shopping. We enjoyed a dolphin watching trip from the Marina, also within walking distance. Also worthy of note, this condo is in the more sedate area of Fort Myers Beach, the north end being a little more "busy". The condo is immaculate and furnished with all amenities that are needed. We would definately like to return to return and hope that there is availability"

  • Very Extended Family Vacation

"We spent a week in October at this beach front home. My wife and I along with our daughter and her family, and my mother in law, father and an older aunt. In all, we had 7 adults and 3 children. Kids were 2, 8, and 13. My father is 87. We all loved the place. It is an older home, but is clean and very well suited for family vacations. Four bedrooms allowed all of our group to have a bedroom and their own bath which helps greatly when this large a group tries to get ready to go. The beach was wonderful and we could sit and view it from the enclosed lanai or the open deck. Pool was the most outstanding feature for our kids.....4 different levels with one being about 6 inches so you could walk around on top of the slab, but in the water, another level about 2 feet to wade, third was maybe 3.5 feet for midrange kids to swim in, then the main part slopes from about 4 foot to 6 foot or better at the deep end. Worked really well for our group with a 2 year old, 8 year old and 13 year old and adults. Kitchen/dining area was large enough for us to all eat together (important for our family) and the living room was also large enough or us to gather. The electronics and interior could use some updates, but we were not there for TV and electronics, and it was clean and well kept. We did not eat out a lot as with a group that size it is difficult, but it was obvious that there was plenty to do in terms of eating or nightlife. We liked the fact that it was a short trip to the Everglades. Spent a day down there doing Airboat, Swamp Buggy, gator show, wildlife viewing, etc. Really good day and the Airboat was my 87 year old father's favorite part. This destination and location will definitely go in my "for future vacations" file. The owner, Stephanie was also very open, honest, and easy to deal with. Recommend this location with no limitations."

  • Great holidays from the first moment

"My family (2adults,4teenager) just came back from this gorgeous place. We had two great weeks in this beautiful beach house that answers every whish one could possibly have in advance. Awesome view, plenty of chairs on the screened porch and deck, spacious home with private bathrooms for all three bedrooms, excellent equipped kitchen, plenty beach towels, and just 30 seconds to reach the beach.....best in the morning was drinking coffee while watching birds and dolfins, in the evening waiting for the sunset. We made trips by boat, went to Sanibel, to the everglades, Audubon’s Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, outlet center…. The house manager lives right behind the house is very friendly and always helpful. We hope to come back with family or friends."

  • Charming and Peaceful Getaway Vacation Spot!!!

"This condo is in a beautiful tranquil setting. It's bright tasteful décor was immaculate upon our arrival. From the overall roominess of the condo it was enhanced by the owner's thoughtfulness for including a fully furnished lanai and beach accessories making it feel like our home away from home. The beach was unbelievable, a huge sandy expanse with great views and access to both the gulf and Estero Bay. This made it great for sunbathing, walking, and fishing. We don't want to forget to mention the perfectly clean and heated pool which has a very large area for just relaxing in the sun if you so desire. There are a variety of restaurants available in the local area with everything from hamburgers and fries to fine dining. the seafood is to die for! Local site seeing is very easy with destinations such as Naples to the south and Sanibel/Captiva Islands to the north, but my favorite adventure was taking a wave-runner tour and having Dolphins swimming within a couple of feet of me in Estero Bay. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer! We have made this place our #1 destination for relaxing vacations in the future."

Fort Myers Beach Travel Tips

More than 6,200 people call Fort Myers Beach home. This town located on Estero Island wasn't officially incorporated until December 1995, making it a newer Floridian hotspot. Although Fort Myers Beach may be small, more than 1.8 million visitors flock there every year to enjoy the beaches, fishing, shopping, dining, golf and entertainment along the Gulf.

There's no undertow in Fort Myers Beach, making it the "World's Safest Beach" and perfect for families who want to get their toes wet. The entire island is 7 miles long, a nice walk or jog for those who want to work in a little exercise on their trip.

The area that was once home to Native Americans and Spaniards is a favorite among tourists who dine on "pink gold" shrimp and celebrate the fishing industry with the week-long Shrimp Festival held in March.
