  • Beautiful condo

"We had the best vacation ever at Dan's condo. Everything you could possibly want and then some is supplied for you. Dan is a great landlord and all of the furnishings are very high end right down to the linens. Short walk to a beautiful beach and fun tiki bar. Thanks for having us and we hope our paths cross again!!!!"

  • Great place

"We chose this condo after searching and reading reviews online. Everything was as described in the Gateway Villas wed site. The condo was clean, updated, everything was included & the owners were available if we needed anything, which we did not. Our family was 4 adults & 2 , 5 year olds, and the arrangements were perfect. This condo is on the beach & during our week long stay, was never crowded. The Time Square area is within walking distance. We had our own car, but the Trolley buses are always available. We enjoyed our stay here very much, & recommend it to anyone looking for a Great Florida Beach experience."

  • Look No Further

"If you're looking for a place in Ft Myers Beach area look no further. You've found it. The Pink House is perfect. Our family of 7 just returned from a week long stay and it was absolutely wonderful . The house is fully equipped with absolutely anything and everything you could possibly need and thee most beautiful setting right on the canal where we watched the manatees play every day. We fished right off the dock and caught fish every morning. The beach access is wonderful right across the street. The owners provide all the beach stuff you need including carts to load all your stuff. The house itself is ideal. They layout is great and plenty of room for everyone. There are more than enough towels, beach towels and linens for everyone and the pack n play came in really handy for our 6 month old granddaughter . The best part is the pool. We spent 90% of our time in the heated pool every single day and the neighbors could not have been nicer. Our 3 year old grandson thinks the Pink House IS Florida so I guess if we go back to Florida we HAVE to stay there . Thanks to Laurie for sharing your beautiful place with us. You will definitely see us again!"

  • Loved it!

"The Condo is clean and beautiful. The location is the best. We have stayed mid-island in the past, this by far was our best time yet! Trolley was a great asset right outside the resort. Stephanie at the rental office was helpful, extremely kind and assisted with our needs."

Fort Myers Beach Travel Tips

More than 6,200 people call Fort Myers Beach home. This town located on Estero Island wasn't officially incorporated until December 1995, making it a newer Floridian hotspot. Although Fort Myers Beach may be small, more than 1.8 million visitors flock there every year to enjoy the beaches, fishing, shopping, dining, golf and entertainment along the Gulf.

There's no undertow in Fort Myers Beach, making it the "World's Safest Beach" and perfect for families who want to get their toes wet. The entire island is 7 miles long, a nice walk or jog for those who want to work in a little exercise on their trip.

The area that was once home to Native Americans and Spaniards is a favorite among tourists who dine on "pink gold" shrimp and celebrate the fishing industry with the week-long Shrimp Festival held in March.

Fort Myers Beach Attractions

There's a lot to do on the tiny island of Estero including water sports, beach activities and outdoor and indoor attractions. There are 25 public beach accesses on the Gulf side of Estero Island that are marked for easy spotting.

You can stop by one of several playgrounds and parks in Fort Myers Beach. Head to Lynn Hall Memorial Park, where you can fish off of a 600-foot pier. Sports lovers can venture over to Bay Oaks Recreation Center for basketball, tennis and volleyball courts.

There are 17 acres of fun on the northern tip of Estero Island at Bowditch Point Regional Park. For more protected wildlife areas, check out the Matanzas Pass Wildlife Preserve with a restored cottage, 42 acres of wilderness and a sanctuary for native plants and animals. Seven acres are developed for a park and the rest remains part of a preservation. There are boardwalks that allow visitors to Estero Back Bay access to observe ospreys and pelicans as they fish for food. Kayaks and canoes are available at Oyster Bay and Lovers Key Barrier Island.
