  • A Superb Week

"This rental home is more than advertised. It is walking distance to beach , trolley is easy transportation around the beach. Pool is relaxing and clean. House is large and very accommodating for our large family. It's on a quiet street and if you want music and atmosphere, it's a short ride or walk away. I would recommend this vacation rental to anyone.we will be back. Thank you for the wonderful week."

  • Paradise At It's Finest

"My husband and I recently stayed at this property and we absolutely loved it. We were thrilled at what a beautiful place we had rented for the week. The wildlife (dolphins swimming right in front of us), scenic views and privacy were among the reasons we will be back again next year. The other residents were warm and friendly. My husband did a lot of fishing, sea shelling and relaxed on the private beach. The restaurants in the area serve some of the best seafood I have ever had. Nervous Nellies (on Fort Myers Beach) had such a relaxing atmosphere but their food was out of this world. For anyone looking to soak up the sunshine and enjoy the scenic views this is the place for you."

  • Relaxing, Inviting Cottage

"This cottage has a very cozy feel with a décor befitting it's beach location. A nice view of the gulf from the deck was the perfect backdrop for enjoying the evening breeze. Easy access to the beach made it perfect for enjoying the surf and sand any time of day, with great views of the surrounding area. The pier and Times Square are within walking distance, with many restaurants and shops to be enjoyed. This is an ideal location for a walkabout vacation or within driving distance of local destinations."

Fort Myers Beach Travel Tips

More than 6,200 people call Fort Myers Beach home. This town located on Estero Island wasn't officially incorporated until December 1995, making it a newer Floridian hotspot. Although Fort Myers Beach may be small, more than 1.8 million visitors flock there every year to enjoy the beaches, fishing, shopping, dining, golf and entertainment along the Gulf.

There's no undertow in Fort Myers Beach, making it the "World's Safest Beach" and perfect for families who want to get their toes wet. The entire island is 7 miles long, a nice walk or jog for those who want to work in a little exercise on their trip.

The area that was once home to Native Americans and Spaniards is a favorite among tourists who dine on "pink gold" shrimp and celebrate the fishing industry with the week-long Shrimp Festival held in March.

Fort Myers Beach Attractions

There's a lot to do on the tiny island of Estero including water sports, beach activities and outdoor and indoor attractions. There are 25 public beach accesses on the Gulf side of Estero Island that are marked for easy spotting.
