  • wonderful family vacation location

"listing was accurate, but didnt do the home justice. Our family of 4 had a wonderful time. Plenty of room in a great location. the bedrooms were nice, the bathrooms were very cool. lots of privacy. everything was in good shape. great kitchen. Our family highlight was the private pool. very nice size with plenty of room & privacy. swimming at night was wonderful. we enjoyed having a nice propane grill for cooking. Location was great. far enough from the busy section for peace & quiet, but close enough to groceries & wonderful food. To get to the ocean you do have to cross a road, but it was only a short trip. swimming was wonderful in the ocean here & not very crowded. The owner Donna was great to work with. i would highly recommend this house"

  • Amazing!!!

"This is the best of the best in Ft. Myers. Bill, the owner, is the best to work with. I don't know what the other condos look like but this is immaculate and very well kept up. Lots of extras to make this feel like home. If you like going to sleep to the ocean and waking up with dolphins playing in the surf and like to be away from crowds this place is for you. The property is clean and accommodating and the people in the office couldn't be any nicer. It was the perfect vacation. On tip, if it's crowded at Ft Myers take a right and head towards Bonita Springs to get around the traffic."

  • Awesome stay!

"Just returned from our stay on Ft. Myers Beach. So glad we choose this condo to stay in. It had everything we needed to make our stay very relaxing and fun. Love the fact that the entire condo is tiled, no carpet anywhere! Everything was clean upon arrival. Kitchen very well equipped. Even had foil and plastic wrap! Unit had washer and dryer (stocked with detergent and dryer sheets) which is nice to have while on the beach. Beach towels were supplied as well. Both baths had a full size bar of soap. There were chairs for the beach, an umbrella and cooler, which really came in handy. Location was perfect! Within walking distance to Times Square for shopping, bars and restaurants; and Bowditch Park for shelling and watching beautiful sunsets. This end of the beach was peaceful and quiet. The perfect place for a relaxing vacation. We are already making plans to return!"

Fort Myers Beach Travel Tips

More than 6,200 people call Fort Myers Beach home. This town located on Estero Island wasn't officially incorporated until December 1995, making it a newer Floridian hotspot. Although Fort Myers Beach may be small, more than 1.8 million visitors flock there every year to enjoy the beaches, fishing, shopping, dining, golf and entertainment along the Gulf.

There's no undertow in Fort Myers Beach, making it the "World's Safest Beach" and perfect for families who want to get their toes wet. The entire island is 7 miles long, a nice walk or jog for those who want to work in a little exercise on their trip.

The area that was once home to Native Americans and Spaniards is a favorite among tourists who dine on "pink gold" shrimp and celebrate the fishing industry with the week-long Shrimp Festival held in March.

Fort Myers Beach Attractions

There's a lot to do on the tiny island of Estero including water sports, beach activities and outdoor and indoor attractions. There are 25 public beach accesses on the Gulf side of Estero Island that are marked for easy spotting.

You can stop by one of several playgrounds and parks in Fort Myers Beach. Head to Lynn Hall Memorial Park, where you can fish off of a 600-foot pier. Sports lovers can venture over to Bay Oaks Recreation Center for basketball, tennis and volleyball courts.

There are 17 acres of fun on the northern tip of Estero Island at Bowditch Point Regional Park. For more protected wildlife areas, check out the Matanzas Pass Wildlife Preserve with a restored cottage, 42 acres of wilderness and a sanctuary for native plants and animals. Seven acres are developed for a park and the rest remains part of a preservation. There are boardwalks that allow visitors to Estero Back Bay access to observe ospreys and pelicans as they fish for food. Kayaks and canoes are available at Oyster Bay and Lovers Key Barrier Island.

Things to Do in Fort Myers Beach
