  • Absolutely Awesome place to stay for a vacation

"We have a family of 8, and we stayed there for a full week. I couldn't pry my kids away to go back home. Perfect condition, accommodations, everything works, and literally within a couple hundred feet from the main strip, beachfront and gulf. You are at the center of Ft. Meyers Beach. I can't wait to go back, and neither can my kids. I don't think I'll drive next either, since everything is walking distance. Thank You!!!!!!"

  • LOVE THIS PLACE!

"This is the fifth time in the last two years that I have stayed here and as always, it was fantastic! The condo and grounds are not only beautiful but well kept. The on-site staff are friendly and helpful. Love the location. You are close enough to walk everywhere which is a major perk. Why rent a car when you can walk down a beautiful tree lined street and/or catch the trolley. I'll be back again and soon. I highly recommend staying here, you won't regret it!"

  • Awesome Vacation House

"We are having an awesome time! Great vacation home. Pictures are very accurate. Great Owners to work with. Our Kids (six of them,19years old and up) having a blast. If they aren't out on our boat and jet ski which are docked out back they are playing ping pong & shooting pool. Kitchen is well equipped along with an outdoor grill. There are plenty of towels for the pool. Large washer & dryer and 2 refrigerators. Big TV for late night movie watching. This was perfect for our family. Couldn't wait to write a review. We have the house for 2 more days. One thing missing tongs for cooking."

  • This place has it all!

"We were delighted with our accommodations. My husband and I woke with the sunrise each morning and ended our day with a beautiful sunset. There is a strip mall located directly across the street with no fewer than five restaurants and a daily farmer's market. We found the other guests to be warm and friendly, and the staff courteous and helpful; and our stretch of beach is one of the nicest we've stayed on. We're looking forward to going back again next year!"

Fort Myers Beach Travel Tips

More than 6,200 people call Fort Myers Beach home. This town located on Estero Island wasn't officially incorporated until December 1995, making it a newer Floridian hotspot. Although Fort Myers Beach may be small, more than 1.8 million visitors flock there every year to enjoy the beaches, fishing, shopping, dining, golf and entertainment along the Gulf.

There's no undertow in Fort Myers Beach, making it the "World's Safest Beach" and perfect for families who want to get their toes wet. The entire island is 7 miles long, a nice walk or jog for those who want to work in a little exercise on their trip.

The area that was once home to Native Americans and Spaniards is a favorite among tourists who dine on "pink gold" shrimp and celebrate the fishing industry with the week-long Shrimp Festival held in March.

Fort Myers Beach Attractions

There's a lot to do on the tiny island of Estero including water sports, beach activities and outdoor and indoor attractions. There are 25 public beach accesses on the Gulf side of Estero Island that are marked for easy spotting.

You can stop by one of several playgrounds and parks in Fort Myers Beach. Head to Lynn Hall Memorial Park, where you can fish off of a 600-foot pier. Sports lovers can venture over to Bay Oaks Recreation Center for basketball, tennis and volleyball courts.

There are 17 acres of fun on the northern tip of Estero Island at Bowditch Point Regional Park. For more protected wildlife areas, check out the Matanzas Pass Wildlife Preserve with a restored cottage, 42 acres of wilderness and a sanctuary for native plants and animals. Seven acres are developed for a park and the rest remains part of a preservation. There are boardwalks that allow visitors to Estero Back Bay access to observe ospreys and pelicans as they fish for food. Kayaks and canoes are available at Oyster Bay and Lovers Key Barrier Island.
