  • Perfect condo.....perfect vacation!

"Our family was there the end of July and I'm so ready to go back already and I've not been home a week yet! The description is exactly as it says, only better. It was absolutely spotless, just enough room to have privacy if you wanted, but perfect seating for family fun! The owners were so gracious to allow us to be guests in their home.....I won't say condo because you could truly feel the love that is there. The sunsets were amazing....EVERY evening. The beach is as perfect as you could want with chair/umbrella rentals available. I highly recommend that you do that! You can enjoy your coffee on the balcony and watch them put yours out in the same spot every morning around 9:00 A.M. But if you aren't a beach bum like me, the pool on the grounds is perfect and immaculate. The restaurant choices there are numerous; something for everybody; including children. I could go on and on.....but you'll just need to experience this yourself. Thanks again, Jennifer and Ron. We came back with so many wonderful memories and will make more there in years to come, I pray."

  • Rental of condo 335065

"We had a lovely time at their condo. They had a bottle of wine, packets of coffee, and a snack mix for us. They had everything we needed, even shampoo, conditioner, soap, and gel. We would definitely stay here again."

  • You will come back

"This is our 2nd time staying in Palm grove. It is was better than we remembered. Wonderful home and great location. Todd and Mary are wonderful owners. They really go above and beyond for their guests. The house is well equipped and they even have lots of outdoor and beach equipment. Love the pool and spa and they have it lit up beautiful at night. My husband, 3 doggies and I loved it and will be back."

  • Family Vacation...all we had hoped it would be!

"My family and I (4 adults and 2 small children) loved this condo. My husband and I have stayed in this building before, smaller condo. This condo has ample space for a larger family who may need some privacy at times. In addition to the enormous master suite (with walk in closet) we were able to close off one of the bathrooms and make the twin bedroom a "suite".(they have a pocket door to the hall and a door into the room).. The kitchen was equipped everything we needed to prepare all of our meals. This unit is a corner unit, lots of beautiful sunlight if you choose to keep the drapes open. The location to grocery stores and "down town" is perfect. The trolley stop is located just outside the condo property and makes it very convenient to go north or south on the island. We enjoyed all of our meals on the lanai. The view of the beach and ocean is perfect. Prior to our arrival we were informed that the pool would be closed due to renovations, POOL? Who needs a pool when you have the ocean just outside your window? We experienced a hiccup with the air-conditioning..which was quickly resolved by the owner. We will return to this location and condo in the near future."

Fort Myers Beach Travel Tips

More than 6,200 people call Fort Myers Beach home. This town located on Estero Island wasn't officially incorporated until December 1995, making it a newer Floridian hotspot. Although Fort Myers Beach may be small, more than 1.8 million visitors flock there every year to enjoy the beaches, fishing, shopping, dining, golf and entertainment along the Gulf.

There's no undertow in Fort Myers Beach, making it the "World's Safest Beach" and perfect for families who want to get their toes wet. The entire island is 7 miles long, a nice walk or jog for those who want to work in a little exercise on their trip.

The area that was once home to Native Americans and Spaniards is a favorite among tourists who dine on "pink gold" shrimp and celebrate the fishing industry with the week-long Shrimp Festival held in March.

Fort Myers Beach Attractions

There's a lot to do on the tiny island of Estero including water sports, beach activities and outdoor and indoor attractions. There are 25 public beach accesses on the Gulf side of Estero Island that are marked for easy spotting.

You can stop by one of several playgrounds and parks in Fort Myers Beach. Head to Lynn Hall Memorial Park, where you can fish off of a 600-foot pier. Sports lovers can venture over to Bay Oaks Recreation Center for basketball, tennis and volleyball courts.

There are 17 acres of fun on the northern tip of Estero Island at Bowditch Point Regional Park. For more protected wildlife areas, check out the Matanzas Pass Wildlife Preserve with a restored cottage, 42 acres of wilderness and a sanctuary for native plants and animals. Seven acres are developed for a park and the rest remains part of a preservation. There are boardwalks that allow visitors to Estero Back Bay access to observe ospreys and pelicans as they fish for food. Kayaks and canoes are available at Oyster Bay and Lovers Key Barrier Island.
