  • excellent vacation rental

"My husband & I enjoyed our stay at this condo on Fort Meyers beach. The view was magnificent! The condo was well supplied with everything to make our stay pleasant. Adequate kitchen ware, big fluffy towels, beach towels & chairs. Wi Fi in the unit. The owners were very helpful with all questions we had and supplied a key in advance of our stay. I highly recommend this property."

  • Great vacation condo

"We spent two weeks at Carlos Pointe and thoroughly enjoyed it. The condo is as well equipped as any We have ever rented, from the kitchen through the rest of the unit. Location is fantastic as is the beach, although a little walk to get to the water. Beach is great to walk every morning, lots of shelling (if that's your thing), close to great shopping, restaurants and other amenities. The grounds are impeccable and the pool area is fantastic. Highly recommend this condo and this owner to deal with."

  • Great Value

"Great place to stay in Ft Myers Beach. Far enough away from the pier area to be quiet, close enough to take a short trolley ride. Clean and well decorated. Mr. Payne (the owner) even called us during our stay to see how we were doing. Thank you Sir"

  • Charming and Peaceful Getaway Vacation Spot!!!

"This condo is in a beautiful tranquil setting. It's bright tasteful décor was immaculate upon our arrival. From the overall roominess of the condo it was enhanced by the owner's thoughtfulness for including a fully furnished lanai and beach accessories making it feel like our home away from home. The beach was unbelievable, a huge sandy expanse with great views and access to both the gulf and Estero Bay. This made it great for sunbathing, walking, and fishing. We don't want to forget to mention the perfectly clean and heated pool which has a very large area for just relaxing in the sun if you so desire. There are a variety of restaurants available in the local area with everything from hamburgers and fries to fine dining. the seafood is to die for! Local site seeing is very easy with destinations such as Naples to the south and Sanibel/Captiva Islands to the north, but my favorite adventure was taking a wave-runner tour and having Dolphins swimming within a couple of feet of me in Estero Bay. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer! We have made this place our #1 destination for relaxing vacations in the future."

Fort Myers Beach Travel Tips

More than 6,200 people call Fort Myers Beach home. This town located on Estero Island wasn't officially incorporated until December 1995, making it a newer Floridian hotspot. Although Fort Myers Beach may be small, more than 1.8 million visitors flock there every year to enjoy the beaches, fishing, shopping, dining, golf and entertainment along the Gulf.

There's no undertow in Fort Myers Beach, making it the "World's Safest Beach" and perfect for families who want to get their toes wet. The entire island is 7 miles long, a nice walk or jog for those who want to work in a little exercise on their trip.

The area that was once home to Native Americans and Spaniards is a favorite among tourists who dine on "pink gold" shrimp and celebrate the fishing industry with the week-long Shrimp Festival held in March.
