"We had a great experience at our stay! The house was wonderful, just like the pictures. Pool was wonderful. Everything was very clean and the house had the amenities you need for your stay. We were even fortunate enough to see manatees behind the house. Very family friendly. The owner was great to work with. Highly recommend this location."

  • Our First Condo Rental Experience - Could not of been happier !!!!

"This was our first experience in renting a condo in Ft Myers and we couldn't of been happier with our stay. The condo itself was very clean and well cared for. The condo grounds are beautifully manicured and you can't beat the location for this penthouse unit. The complex is right on the beach so it's a short walk to the sandy beach and if you prefer a dip in the pool the water temp was always inviting. From the patio we were able to watch dolphins swimming, view spectacular sunsets and in the morning we found the patio was an excellent way to start our day as we enjoyed our morning coffee. We can't wait to go back for a more extended stay at this condo. Wisconsin (Go Badgers) !!"

  • Great Place, Great View

"The condo was very nice and clean. The kitchen looked pretty new and had a dishwasher, which made it easy to clean up as we were heading out. The view and location were great; you can walk down two flights of stairs and be on the beach. It's also only a 10 minute walk to pier and restaurants, which we took full advantage of! Overall, the experience was great. The only minimal room for improvement is maybe a slight upgrade to the bathroom, but hey, we weren't there to see bathrooms! I would definitely stay here again."

Fort Myers Beach Travel Tips

More than 6,200 people call Fort Myers Beach home. This town located on Estero Island wasn't officially incorporated until December 1995, making it a newer Floridian hotspot. Although Fort Myers Beach may be small, more than 1.8 million visitors flock there every year to enjoy the beaches, fishing, shopping, dining, golf and entertainment along the Gulf.

There's no undertow in Fort Myers Beach, making it the "World's Safest Beach" and perfect for families who want to get their toes wet. The entire island is 7 miles long, a nice walk or jog for those who want to work in a little exercise on their trip.

The area that was once home to Native Americans and Spaniards is a favorite among tourists who dine on "pink gold" shrimp and celebrate the fishing industry with the week-long Shrimp Festival held in March.

Fort Myers Beach Attractions

There's a lot to do on the tiny island of Estero including water sports, beach activities and outdoor and indoor attractions. There are 25 public beach accesses on the Gulf side of Estero Island that are marked for easy spotting.

You can stop by one of several playgrounds and parks in Fort Myers Beach. Head to Lynn Hall Memorial Park, where you can fish off of a 600-foot pier. Sports lovers can venture over to Bay Oaks Recreation Center for basketball, tennis and volleyball courts.

There are 17 acres of fun on the northern tip of Estero Island at Bowditch Point Regional Park. For more protected wildlife areas, check out the Matanzas Pass Wildlife Preserve with a restored cottage, 42 acres of wilderness and a sanctuary for native plants and animals. Seven acres are developed for a park and the rest remains part of a preservation. There are boardwalks that allow visitors to Estero Back Bay access to observe ospreys and pelicans as they fish for food. Kayaks and canoes are available at Oyster Bay and Lovers Key Barrier Island.
