  • Great find!

"Our family enjoyed a wonderful week in the upper unit. The back bedroom with the bath across the hall was terrific for grandma. The loft gave our teenage girls room to spread out. The pictures and description provided are accurate. With the bridge traffic during Christmas week, being located on the north side of the bridge was ideal. My 80 year old mother was able to walk over the bridge easily twice a day. For people who don't want to walk, the shuttle is available across the street, although the schedule is variable when traffic is heavy. There are some great restaurants located down the street. The pool was key for the entire family. Beautiful sunsets. Well stocked, just bring beach towels and a hair dryer (if needed)."

  • BEST PALCE TO STAY! GREAT LOCATION!

"My friend an I stayed in this very nice apt. the week of July 5th, we were totally impressed with everything this apt. had to offer, it looks exactly like the photos! so close to everything, beaches, shopping, great restaurants, we did not drive our car the whole week we stayed here. The owners provided great communication checking in/out was a breeze. We will defiantly be back to stay. Thank you, Peter & Jill! We had a wonderful vacation we can't wait to come back!"

  • Paradise at the Pink Haus

"Our first major road trip with our kids was to Ft. Myers Beach and to the Pink Haus. Their first experience with the ocean was right outside in the backyard of this incredible location. It was amazing! The house is so nicely tucked away (from the front and back) that you feel a great amount of privacy but the ocean view is stunning. Our boys loved it and we felt so at home. We loved the decor in the home (the colors and artwork were incredible...wish i was as creative!). The pictures really don't do it justice here. I took my own pictures of every room just so I could remember it all! It was very tough to leave this gorgeous place. We will be back in the future, that is a sure thing! Thank you for an amazing time!!!"

  • Great condo, great holiday, perfect for a couple.

"The weather was unbelievably perfect 72-90 degrees every day. Our favorite adventures; six mile cypress slough nature preserve, running, walking on the beach, lying by the pool and reading a good book. Great restaurants we discovered Parrot Key lunch fish and drinks on the dock, Skyes-classic Margaritas, Fish House-friendly. Other thoughts to share; Everything you need is nearby. Bird life is amazing - 2 bald eagles, young ones flying around along with Ospreys, pelicans, dolphins, as well. The condo view is superb!"

Fort Myers Beach Travel Tips

More than 6,200 people call Fort Myers Beach home. This town located on Estero Island wasn't officially incorporated until December 1995, making it a newer Floridian hotspot. Although Fort Myers Beach may be small, more than 1.8 million visitors flock there every year to enjoy the beaches, fishing, shopping, dining, golf and entertainment along the Gulf.

There's no undertow in Fort Myers Beach, making it the "World's Safest Beach" and perfect for families who want to get their toes wet. The entire island is 7 miles long, a nice walk or jog for those who want to work in a little exercise on their trip.

The area that was once home to Native Americans and Spaniards is a favorite among tourists who dine on "pink gold" shrimp and celebrate the fishing industry with the week-long Shrimp Festival held in March.

Fort Myers Beach Attractions

There's a lot to do on the tiny island of Estero including water sports, beach activities and outdoor and indoor attractions. There are 25 public beach accesses on the Gulf side of Estero Island that are marked for easy spotting.

You can stop by one of several playgrounds and parks in Fort Myers Beach. Head to Lynn Hall Memorial Park, where you can fish off of a 600-foot pier. Sports lovers can venture over to Bay Oaks Recreation Center for basketball, tennis and volleyball courts.

There are 17 acres of fun on the northern tip of Estero Island at Bowditch Point Regional Park. For more protected wildlife areas, check out the Matanzas Pass Wildlife Preserve with a restored cottage, 42 acres of wilderness and a sanctuary for native plants and animals. Seven acres are developed for a park and the rest remains part of a preservation. There are boardwalks that allow visitors to Estero Back Bay access to observe ospreys and pelicans as they fish for food. Kayaks and canoes are available at Oyster Bay and Lovers Key Barrier Island.
