  • Paradise at the Pink Haus

"Our first major road trip with our kids was to Ft. Myers Beach and to the Pink Haus. Their first experience with the ocean was right outside in the backyard of this incredible location. It was amazing! The house is so nicely tucked away (from the front and back) that you feel a great amount of privacy but the ocean view is stunning. Our boys loved it and we felt so at home. We loved the decor in the home (the colors and artwork were incredible...wish i was as creative!). The pictures really don't do it justice here. I took my own pictures of every room just so I could remember it all! It was very tough to leave this gorgeous place. We will be back in the future, that is a sure thing! Thank you for an amazing time!!!"

  • Excellent Rental!

"Excellent selection, put your car keys away! This Estero Beach Club Condo is convenient to restaurants, grocery stores and nightlife, not to mention a breathtaking oceanfront view of sunrises and sunsets on the beach. For vacationers on a limited budget, the two bedrooms, (each with private bath) makes it the perfect selection for a two-couples split. You will also enjoy a fully equipped kitchen for dining in, as well as a clean and spacious living area. The grounds are impeccably maintained, and offer laundry facilities at very reasonable prices. Perfect for adults couples, girls getaway, 55+. I would discourage families with very young children. We had a wonderful time and looking forward to visiting again!"

  • Absolute gem of a place!

"Love it! Love it! Love it! This was my first time traveling to Ft. Myers Beach and I was not disappointed! Riptide condo, unit 12 specifically, is truly "Paradise Found." We had a view of the Gulf was which was literally, steps away. The accommodations were immaculate, especially the newly remodeled bathroom, and absolutely adorable. The tropical decor was very inviting, lending to our purpose for vacationing there: to celebrate my best friend's 50th birthday, spending four days on the beach, drinking Coronas. The condo provided everything we needed; we didn't rent a car and found it extremely accessible to all local amenities. The manager was super helpful in suggesting places to eat and kept the property beautiful. All in all, this vacation left nothing to be desired: great friend and great location. I would recommend this condo, without hesitation, and can't wait to vacation there again and again!"

  • awesome

"We arrived at the condo on Saturday and we were exhausted from the long drive. The condo felt homey and so very comfortable. After a few days of relaxing and getting familiar with our surroundings we started exploring the area. The pool area was perfect - everyone was so friendly and informative. It was a joy to return to our beautiful condo after venturing out - it has every amenity you want - as good as being in my own kitchen. The condo is decorated with great taste. The view was great and it was a pleasure sitting on the lanai in total peacefulness. Perfect place to rest and close to wonderful restaurants. We enjoyed our walks every day and felt safe. Santini mall was so handy and the Wyndgate across the street was perfect for leisurely drinks and dinner at Pinchers. Beaches across the street was an extra feature that was new to us. It was great. Thank you Diego for being so quick with any of our requests. We hope to return in the very near future. I would highly recommend this great place."

Fort Myers Beach Travel Tips

More than 6,200 people call Fort Myers Beach home. This town located on Estero Island wasn't officially incorporated until December 1995, making it a newer Floridian hotspot. Although Fort Myers Beach may be small, more than 1.8 million visitors flock there every year to enjoy the beaches, fishing, shopping, dining, golf and entertainment along the Gulf.

There's no undertow in Fort Myers Beach, making it the "World's Safest Beach" and perfect for families who want to get their toes wet. The entire island is 7 miles long, a nice walk or jog for those who want to work in a little exercise on their trip.

The area that was once home to Native Americans and Spaniards is a favorite among tourists who dine on "pink gold" shrimp and celebrate the fishing industry with the week-long Shrimp Festival held in March.

Fort Myers Beach Attractions

There's a lot to do on the tiny island of Estero including water sports, beach activities and outdoor and indoor attractions. There are 25 public beach accesses on the Gulf side of Estero Island that are marked for easy spotting.

There are 17 acres of fun on the northern tip of Estero Island at Bowditch Point Regional Park. For more protected wildlife areas, check out the Matanzas Pass Wildlife Preserve with a restored cottage, 42 acres of wilderness and a sanctuary for native plants and animals. Seven acres are developed for a park and the rest remains part of a preservation. There are boardwalks that allow visitors to Estero Back Bay access to observe ospreys and pelicans as they fish for food. Kayaks and canoes are available at Oyster Bay and Lovers Key Barrier Island.
