  • awesome

"We arrived at the condo on Saturday and we were exhausted from the long drive. The condo felt homey and so very comfortable. After a few days of relaxing and getting familiar with our surroundings we started exploring the area. The pool area was perfect - everyone was so friendly and informative. It was a joy to return to our beautiful condo after venturing out - it has every amenity you want - as good as being in my own kitchen. The condo is decorated with great taste. The view was great and it was a pleasure sitting on the lanai in total peacefulness. Perfect place to rest and close to wonderful restaurants. We enjoyed our walks every day and felt safe. Santini mall was so handy and the Wyndgate across the street was perfect for leisurely drinks and dinner at Pinchers. Beaches across the street was an extra feature that was new to us. It was great. Thank you Diego for being so quick with any of our requests. We hope to return in the very near future. I would highly recommend this great place."

  • Good Condo, Well Stocked, Good Value.

"We use VRBO for many of our vacations and once again we had a very positive experience with this unit/rental. Condo was well stocked with everything we needed for our week long stay. Easy beach access, nice pool, quiet, relaxing stay. Screened in balcony was the perfect morning coffee setting. Additionally in the master bedroom we could hear the ocean as we fell asleep."

Fort Myers Beach Travel Tips

More than 6,200 people call Fort Myers Beach home. This town located on Estero Island wasn't officially incorporated until December 1995, making it a newer Floridian hotspot. Although Fort Myers Beach may be small, more than 1.8 million visitors flock there every year to enjoy the beaches, fishing, shopping, dining, golf and entertainment along the Gulf.

There's no undertow in Fort Myers Beach, making it the "World's Safest Beach" and perfect for families who want to get their toes wet. The entire island is 7 miles long, a nice walk or jog for those who want to work in a little exercise on their trip.

The area that was once home to Native Americans and Spaniards is a favorite among tourists who dine on "pink gold" shrimp and celebrate the fishing industry with the week-long Shrimp Festival held in March.

Fort Myers Beach Attractions

There's a lot to do on the tiny island of Estero including water sports, beach activities and outdoor and indoor attractions. There are 25 public beach accesses on the Gulf side of Estero Island that are marked for easy spotting.

You can stop by one of several playgrounds and parks in Fort Myers Beach. Head to Lynn Hall Memorial Park, where you can fish off of a 600-foot pier. Sports lovers can venture over to Bay Oaks Recreation Center for basketball, tennis and volleyball courts.

There are 17 acres of fun on the northern tip of Estero Island at Bowditch Point Regional Park. For more protected wildlife areas, check out the Matanzas Pass Wildlife Preserve with a restored cottage, 42 acres of wilderness and a sanctuary for native plants and animals. Seven acres are developed for a park and the rest remains part of a preservation. There are boardwalks that allow visitors to Estero Back Bay access to observe ospreys and pelicans as they fish for food. Kayaks and canoes are available at Oyster Bay and Lovers Key Barrier Island.
