"Thanks for the great place to stay! The pics don't do the place justice . It was very spacious with a great view . We got to see dolphins every morning, a manatee came up and was drinking water from the boat which as cool. The neighbor was friendly as well as the ground keeper. We got lucky and met the lady that cleans do to us having car trouble . She live down the road and introduced herself. She was one of the nicest ladies I ever met.. I was nervous at first to rent due to only renting a motel before for a vacation. Connie was very polite and gave all details without me having to ask ,which made me feel very comfortable. I can't say enough about this place how wonderful our vacation was here. Thank you again for letting us use your place for vacation thanks from the grant family"

"We absoutly loved the condo! It was super clean and had was a great choice for our family of four. I have a three year old daughter so I appreciated the fact that there was not a lot of nick knacks to be broken :) We will definitely be back!"

  • Absolutely amazing!!

"This was by far the best beach house my family has ever stayed in. The views of the beach were amazing! We really enjoyed the deck overlooking the beach and the breakfast area that had great views of the ocean. The owner, Dan Dennis was so accommodating. He wanted to make sure if we needed anything he was available. The property was spotless and had everything we needed for our stay. My Father stayed at a resort right next to the beach house so we just walked over to see him. The beach was so beautiful! My kids found live starfish and live sand dollars when they dived down to explore. We also had a dolphin come close to shore and we ran out in the water to see it. It was about 15 feet away from us. Could have not asked for a better vacation!! Thank you for a vacation we will never forget!"

  • Didn't want to leave!

"Dan's condo was the perfect place to spend a vacation by the beach! It was CLEAN, COMFORTABLE, and CLOSE to so many great activities - and the airport! The extras - videos, plush towels, washer and dryer - made it luxurious. I loved the kitchen!"

Fort Myers Beach Travel Tips

More than 6,200 people call Fort Myers Beach home. This town located on Estero Island wasn't officially incorporated until December 1995, making it a newer Floridian hotspot. Although Fort Myers Beach may be small, more than 1.8 million visitors flock there every year to enjoy the beaches, fishing, shopping, dining, golf and entertainment along the Gulf.

There's no undertow in Fort Myers Beach, making it the "World's Safest Beach" and perfect for families who want to get their toes wet. The entire island is 7 miles long, a nice walk or jog for those who want to work in a little exercise on their trip.

The area that was once home to Native Americans and Spaniards is a favorite among tourists who dine on "pink gold" shrimp and celebrate the fishing industry with the week-long Shrimp Festival held in March.

Fort Myers Beach Attractions

There's a lot to do on the tiny island of Estero including water sports, beach activities and outdoor and indoor attractions. There are 25 public beach accesses on the Gulf side of Estero Island that are marked for easy spotting.

You can stop by one of several playgrounds and parks in Fort Myers Beach. Head to Lynn Hall Memorial Park, where you can fish off of a 600-foot pier. Sports lovers can venture over to Bay Oaks Recreation Center for basketball, tennis and volleyball courts.

There are 17 acres of fun on the northern tip of Estero Island at Bowditch Point Regional Park. For more protected wildlife areas, check out the Matanzas Pass Wildlife Preserve with a restored cottage, 42 acres of wilderness and a sanctuary for native plants and animals. Seven acres are developed for a park and the rest remains part of a preservation. There are boardwalks that allow visitors to Estero Back Bay access to observe ospreys and pelicans as they fish for food. Kayaks and canoes are available at Oyster Bay and Lovers Key Barrier Island.
