  • Perfect location, excellent hospitality

"My husband and I stayed at Ann Marie's house for two weeks in February. It was our first time on Fort Myers Beach, and I cannot imagine ever returning and staying anyplace else. The house was exactly like the pictures represented, and I think my favorite part was the free bicycles as we used them almost every day. The neighborhood was extremely quiet, and yet we were close enough for a 10 minute bike ride to activities and the grocery store, or just a walk across the street to the beach. Having the pool in the backyard was extra relaxing, and really no trouble. I loved cooking when I felt like it, and she really had all the kitchen accessories I would need. I would recommend this house for sure! Thank you Ann Marie!"

  • Almost like Home

"We spent a wonderful week at this fully equipped condo. We have been at the Kona Beach at other condos for many years now. This particular condo has all the amenities of home. I did not have to bring anything with me as far as amenities in the kitchen or bedrooms. To start with Heidi was very prompt and efficient with the original contract. Several weeks before our arrival she e mailed us with all the information for the condo. She sent specific instructions as to how things worked in the condo, places to see, restaurants, etc. She also had information regarding exiting the condo in great detail. It was clean, beds were both king size and very comfortable. We didn't use the second bedroom except for storage but this facility would easily handle 4 people comfortably. There are even things for little children in the condo. Ample beach towels, blankets and pillows. Comfortable living room furniture and a TV that worked with lots of cable channels to watch. I had a few questions when we first got settled and Heidi responded almost immediately. There is also a washer and dryer in the unit. We would have to say that this was one of the best condos we have rented in the past 8 years and it was because the owner was so accessible."

  • Perfect Family Vacation Spot

"My husband and I spent 2 weeks at Gulf Breeze. Our children and grandchildren joined us for part of the time, and the house was perfect for all of us. The lower bedroom offered privacy for our adult children. The pool and spa area with 8 lounge chairs was spectacular and a big hit with everyone, young and old! We especially appreciated the safety features such as the raised door handles on the screened-in lanai and security gates on the upper deck, which kept the little ones safe. Every amenity was available to us: beach chairs and umbrellas, beach wagon, sand toys, cooler, grill, bikes, and lots of books for relaxed reading. The fact that we could easily cross the street to the beautiful beach with all our gear stowed in the wagon was a real plus - especially with 3 little ones in tow! The location is far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Times Square but many places (such as Publix supermarket and lots of great restaurants) are easily accessible via a short bike ride or walk. We loved starting and ending our day on the front porch overlooking Estero Blvd. The house and pool were very clean, and when we experienced a problem with the dishwasher, Todd sent his handyman right over to fix the issue. We hope to return to Gulf Breeze again soon. Thanks Todd and Mary for a wonderful vacation!"

"Came down for for spring break and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. For two people, condo was the perfect size and had everything we needed. Unit was comfortable and the location was perfect - walking the beach every day was wonderful. Beach chairs were provided and location on island was perfect as there are restaurants and shopping within easy walking. Owner was helpful and very quick to answer questions. Would definitely come back again."

Fort Myers Beach Travel Tips

More than 6,200 people call Fort Myers Beach home. This town located on Estero Island wasn't officially incorporated until December 1995, making it a newer Floridian hotspot. Although Fort Myers Beach may be small, more than 1.8 million visitors flock there every year to enjoy the beaches, fishing, shopping, dining, golf and entertainment along the Gulf.

There's no undertow in Fort Myers Beach, making it the "World's Safest Beach" and perfect for families who want to get their toes wet. The entire island is 7 miles long, a nice walk or jog for those who want to work in a little exercise on their trip.

The area that was once home to Native Americans and Spaniards is a favorite among tourists who dine on "pink gold" shrimp and celebrate the fishing industry with the week-long Shrimp Festival held in March.
