  • Much more than expected

"Stayed here for my nieces wedding in Bonita Springs. The house was wonderful. It had everything and more. Ping pong table, bikes, pool toys, gaming systems. We had the best time and it was located so close to everything. It was a hassle free rental with all my communications with Bob and Libda being very pleasant. I highly recommend this hone, you won't be sorry."

"If you want to stay in a home that makes you feel as though you are being pampered, i suggest you rent this spectacular Key West style home. The owner is amazing! Not only has she decorated her home with magnificent style, she has left NOTHING out when it comes to making guests feel spoiled!! The bed in the master bedroom is the most beautiful, comfortable bed you could ever hope to sleep in!! The view from every window to the outside of the home is like a thriving metropolis!!! There is even a remote control to change the color of the lighting in the pool in the evening!!! My husband and I spent our first Christmas there and loved every minute of it. Leaving felt like a punishment! The good news is we will be back in March! We highly recommend this home! It is close to everything Sarasota has to offer! St. Armand Circle, Downtown, the amazing Siesta Key Beaches and so many fabulous restaurants! Although you may not want to leave this beautiful home!!!!"

  • Fantastic Stay in a Great Condo!

"We had a great time during our stay at this lovely condo. We've stayed at a variety of condo's on Siesta Key (and in other spots) and by far the best feature about this condo was how well stocked it was. All the little things really add up to the big things from having plenty of towels for showers, plenty of beach towels, extra pillows and blankets, really comfortable beds, to plenty of beach toys and chairs on the patio. We did almost all our meals in the kitchen and were so pleased to find it well stocked with plenty of utensils, pots/pans and even plenty of Tupperware to store the leftovers in. We also loved the spaciousness of the condo itself (great size!) and the beautiful and spacious back porch. This was a great condo in a great location (just a short walk out the back porch to the key and a short walk out the front door to the heat pool. Also a great price point. Will definitely come back!"

Fort Myers Beach Travel Tips

More than 6,200 people call Fort Myers Beach home. This town located on Estero Island wasn't officially incorporated until December 1995, making it a newer Floridian hotspot. Although Fort Myers Beach may be small, more than 1.8 million visitors flock there every year to enjoy the beaches, fishing, shopping, dining, golf and entertainment along the Gulf.

There's no undertow in Fort Myers Beach, making it the "World's Safest Beach" and perfect for families who want to get their toes wet. The entire island is 7 miles long, a nice walk or jog for those who want to work in a little exercise on their trip.

The area that was once home to Native Americans and Spaniards is a favorite among tourists who dine on "pink gold" shrimp and celebrate the fishing industry with the week-long Shrimp Festival held in March.

Fort Myers Beach Attractions

There's a lot to do on the tiny island of Estero including water sports, beach activities and outdoor and indoor attractions. There are 25 public beach accesses on the Gulf side of Estero Island that are marked for easy spotting.

You can stop by one of several playgrounds and parks in Fort Myers Beach. Head to Lynn Hall Memorial Park, where you can fish off of a 600-foot pier. Sports lovers can venture over to Bay Oaks Recreation Center for basketball, tennis and volleyball courts.

There are 17 acres of fun on the northern tip of Estero Island at Bowditch Point Regional Park. For more protected wildlife areas, check out the Matanzas Pass Wildlife Preserve with a restored cottage, 42 acres of wilderness and a sanctuary for native plants and animals. Seven acres are developed for a park and the rest remains part of a preservation. There are boardwalks that allow visitors to Estero Back Bay access to observe ospreys and pelicans as they fish for food. Kayaks and canoes are available at Oyster Bay and Lovers Key Barrier Island.
