  • Wonderfully Convenient and Relaxing

"My wife and I have frequently vacationed on the East Coast of Florida, and this was our first visit to the West Coast. What a fabulous difference. So much more down to Earth and comfortable. The condo itself is spacious, open and airy. It's close to everything, a short walk to the beach, shopping, restaurants, etc., and the people who stay at the complex are very friendly and welcoming. Overall, it was an outstanding vacation and an eye opening view of a fantastic part of the Florida Beach scene. I would highly recommend this condo for anyone looking to unwind and relax."

  • 1st stay in Fort Myers Beach but hopefully not last

"This is a a lovely house on a really great island resort. The house is full of personal touches and feels more like a home than just a rental property. All the rooms are bigger and lighter than the photographs suggest and the swimming pool was also larger than we expected. It is a very easy walk to the beach and although a bit further into the centre of Time Square if I can manage it than anyone can, and there are several bars on the way to break the trip. I would recommend stopping at Hoosiers which is just around the corner, very friendly people run it and the pork chops we had were probably the best meal we had in our 2 weeks in Florida. If you want a change from the beach would also recommend the Everglades Adventure. They came and picked us up from the house and we had a fun but also informative day out . Our guide Phil was so passionate about the area and the wildlife it made the whole day fascinating. As you can tell we really enjoyed our stay at this house and in Fort Myers Beach and felt quite sorry to be leaving at the end!"

  • Illinois Travelers

"This is a great condo for viewing the pool, beach, gulf and sunsets. It is furnished very comfortably and the kitchen is very well equiped for when you feel like cooking. The beach grill is just a short walk from the condo and the view while you are cooking is wonderful. Unlike some other places we have stayed, the pool is in the sun most of the day for lounging on a raft or on the pool deck. Very quiet area of the island; yet within walking distance to the center of activity. We hope to be back next year."

  • tropical paradise

"Our stay was a wonderful experience. The home was very clean and spacious. The 2 adult bikes were well used touring the whole island. Close to Times Square and a grocery store, library, and the community pool & recreational centre. Everything you needed was there. Feels like a home away from home. Beach is a four minute walk. All beach equipment that you would require was there including umbrella and beach chairs. Quiet neighbourhood lots of trees."

Fort Myers Beach Travel Tips

More than 6,200 people call Fort Myers Beach home. This town located on Estero Island wasn't officially incorporated until December 1995, making it a newer Floridian hotspot. Although Fort Myers Beach may be small, more than 1.8 million visitors flock there every year to enjoy the beaches, fishing, shopping, dining, golf and entertainment along the Gulf.

There's no undertow in Fort Myers Beach, making it the "World's Safest Beach" and perfect for families who want to get their toes wet. The entire island is 7 miles long, a nice walk or jog for those who want to work in a little exercise on their trip.

The area that was once home to Native Americans and Spaniards is a favorite among tourists who dine on "pink gold" shrimp and celebrate the fishing industry with the week-long Shrimp Festival held in March.

Fort Myers Beach Attractions

There's a lot to do on the tiny island of Estero including water sports, beach activities and outdoor and indoor attractions. There are 25 public beach accesses on the Gulf side of Estero Island that are marked for easy spotting.

You can stop by one of several playgrounds and parks in Fort Myers Beach. Head to Lynn Hall Memorial Park, where you can fish off of a 600-foot pier. Sports lovers can venture over to Bay Oaks Recreation Center for basketball, tennis and volleyball courts.
