  • Great Views!

"My husband and I enjoyed our weeks stay at this very nice condo. It was quiet and very relaxing! We had our coffee every morning on the balcony and the sunsets were incredible! We enjoyed watching the dolphins and pelicans too. On our walks on the beach we gathered lots of pretty sea shells. The condo was clean and perfect for the 2 of us and was exactly as pictured. (One thing I missed is there is not a dishwasher, so be sure to pick up paper products for easy and quick cleanups after a meal in.) Overall, would highly recommend for a quiet and relaxing vacation."

  • Beautiful place easy access by foot to downtown

"Property was great place for my adult children and grandchildren to roam inside. The owner was always a text away and returned our questions in a short time. Great person. The outside parking was great and the beach not far away just across the street. The Traffic was bad so we just took our long walks to town every night or walked beach in day time, which was 1-2 miles one way and grocery store was less than 1 mile away. My daughter was in a wheel chair, grandchildren in a stroller and the rest of us on foot, with all the food and drinks we had the walk was great exercise for us all. We had fantastic weather which made this possible. Would differently recommend this home. Our family would love to return someday soon!!"

  • Whiting,IN

"Was very happy with the unit. Found it to be exceptionally clean and welcoming. Very nicely furnished with everything we needed for our stay. View is spectacular! Loved the fact that we had our own private beach such a short walk from the unit! Owner is so easy to deal with and accommodating that we will go back again and again. Close to bike rentals, highly recommend bike rental at Dolphin Inn, many restaurants to choose from. Santini Plaza across the street with places to shop and eat, along with a CVS. We really liked Pinchers at the Wyndham just down the street. A great place on the beach."

Fort Myers Beach Travel Tips

More than 6,200 people call Fort Myers Beach home. This town located on Estero Island wasn't officially incorporated until December 1995, making it a newer Floridian hotspot. Although Fort Myers Beach may be small, more than 1.8 million visitors flock there every year to enjoy the beaches, fishing, shopping, dining, golf and entertainment along the Gulf.

There's no undertow in Fort Myers Beach, making it the "World's Safest Beach" and perfect for families who want to get their toes wet. The entire island is 7 miles long, a nice walk or jog for those who want to work in a little exercise on their trip.

The area that was once home to Native Americans and Spaniards is a favorite among tourists who dine on "pink gold" shrimp and celebrate the fishing industry with the week-long Shrimp Festival held in March.

Fort Myers Beach Attractions

There's a lot to do on the tiny island of Estero including water sports, beach activities and outdoor and indoor attractions. There are 25 public beach accesses on the Gulf side of Estero Island that are marked for easy spotting.

You can stop by one of several playgrounds and parks in Fort Myers Beach. Head to Lynn Hall Memorial Park, where you can fish off of a 600-foot pier. Sports lovers can venture over to Bay Oaks Recreation Center for basketball, tennis and volleyball courts.

There are 17 acres of fun on the northern tip of Estero Island at Bowditch Point Regional Park. For more protected wildlife areas, check out the Matanzas Pass Wildlife Preserve with a restored cottage, 42 acres of wilderness and a sanctuary for native plants and animals. Seven acres are developed for a park and the rest remains part of a preservation. There are boardwalks that allow visitors to Estero Back Bay access to observe ospreys and pelicans as they fish for food. Kayaks and canoes are available at Oyster Bay and Lovers Key Barrier Island.
