  • Better than advertised

"this place was great. Well located near the beach with several bars and restaurants within walking distance. Lover's key state park is about 10minute drive and we rented kayaks and went hiking as well."

  • Love This Place!

"I've been coming to this condo for years. Every time I visit, the owners have made some kind of improvement. This time it was the master bath. It was beautiful! They also upgraded the blinds in the living room, and I noticed some new kitchen appliances as well. This is kind of funny. I've always visited as part of a girls getaway, which has always been fun, but this time I brought my daughter's family, which included my 3-year-old grandson, and it was just as wonderful for a young child. He loved the pool and the beach, and the second bedroom was perfect. Another nice thing is that it's close enough to walk to Times Square, but it's far enough away to be quiet when you want that also. That was especially good for our little guy. Can't wait for my next visit. I guess that says it all."

  • FANTASTIC !!!!

"This location is wonderful!!! We chose this home as it had an elevator for Grandma, a deck, and great sunset views for Mom and Dad, and our adult daughters. We ate every meal in the lanai, and Grandma found it to be the perfect place to relax and read. Each night, we played games there until late. Three bedrooms, 3 baths= heaven! The kitchen is COMPLETE. The pantry well stocked. We brought games to play - but we found other games there, and books to read just in case. The name of this home says it all : elevator to HEAVEN. :) THANK YOU."

"this place has been such a dream come true, none of these pictures can come close to doing it justice. Very clean, comfortable, spacious, and thoughtfully taken care of, we even had the beach combed for us. We had 4 adults and 3 young children in our party, with two dogs, my 5 year old is in a wheelchair, considering we can still carry him and his wheelchair it wasn't bad compared to some of the stairs of seen on these houses a we've been able to maneuver him easily through the house, everything was perfect, we didn't need to bring half of the things we brought because the house was already equipped, there's a nice shade tree on the beach, a grill with two cans of propane, washer and dryer, dishwasher, all the amenities of your own home, lots of areas for the kids to play, the beach is literally steps out your back door, the deck is fantastic, we've driven and walked up and down estero and can't find another placed we'd rather stay, so private, the beach seems almost secluded, best vacation I've ever had I don't know much about sightseeing or the adventure seeking because we did nothing but lounge on the beach all day everyday, it was a short trip into town for gifts that was really nice, we plan to make this a yearly trip from here on out, thank you so much for this unbelievable stay :)"

Fort Myers Beach Travel Tips

More than 6,200 people call Fort Myers Beach home. This town located on Estero Island wasn't officially incorporated until December 1995, making it a newer Floridian hotspot. Although Fort Myers Beach may be small, more than 1.8 million visitors flock there every year to enjoy the beaches, fishing, shopping, dining, golf and entertainment along the Gulf.

There's no undertow in Fort Myers Beach, making it the "World's Safest Beach" and perfect for families who want to get their toes wet. The entire island is 7 miles long, a nice walk or jog for those who want to work in a little exercise on their trip.

The area that was once home to Native Americans and Spaniards is a favorite among tourists who dine on "pink gold" shrimp and celebrate the fishing industry with the week-long Shrimp Festival held in March.

Fort Myers Beach Attractions

There's a lot to do on the tiny island of Estero including water sports, beach activities and outdoor and indoor attractions. There are 25 public beach accesses on the Gulf side of Estero Island that are marked for easy spotting.

For more protected wildlife areas, check out the Matanzas Pass Wildlife Preserve with a restored cottage, 42 acres of wilderness and a sanctuary for native plants and animals. Seven acres are developed for a park and the rest remains part of a preservation. There are boardwalks that allow visitors to Estero Back Bay access to observe ospreys and pelicans as they fish for food. Kayaks and canoes are available at Oyster Bay and Lovers Key Barrier Island.
