  • CONDO

"We just arrived back home after renting this condo for February, 2015 and it was "lovely". It was so well furnished and everything that you possibly needed was at your fingertips. It also was in such a great location to walk to shops, restaurants and just a block to the beach. The view from the lanai was spectacular with all the boats coming and going from the marina. The pool was beautiful and the people we met there were extremely nice. The owners were very accommodating and helpful for us. We hope to possibly rent this unit again someday in the near future. Mike and Bev Freemark, Bloomington, MN"

  • Love your home!!

"We thank you for sharing your beautiful home! You have been so good in communicating with us every step of the way. Everything from the furniture to the dishes were of great quality, every room was spacious and clean......love the en-suite! The pool/spa was clean and a great place for the whole family to be. Love how the pool overlooks the canal. Even the local people are great! The area is just beautiful with flowering plants and trees in December! Short walk to the beach (the little red wagon was so useful), beautiful coast line with miles to walk. Ft Myers Beach has the best New Years firework display ever. So much to do, jet ski, kayaking, air boat through the Everglades, shopping, walking or just relaxing on the deck which has sun all day!....it was a holiday to remember.....highly recommend! Thanks again."

  • Great condo, great complex

"The unit had new kitchen and baths. Nicely decorated in costal decor. Smuggler's Cove has lots to offer--pool, lawn chairs/loungers for the grassy area, outside showers, ample parking, friendly office staff, great location. We liked it so much we tried to book this unit for 2016, but it was not available-- that's not a surprise. The only thing missing in this beautiful unit with a beautiful Gulf view is a washer/dryer. There is a laundry onsite. So bring your quarters. This unit is also close to the elevator for added convenience. We truly enjoyed our week at this beach condo."

  • Paradise Found!

"I've stayed in a few different units at Estero Beach & Tennis Club and this one is my new favorite. It is evident the owners take great pride in their condo. The little things mean a lot to me, such as comfortable quality deck furniture, celing fans in the bedroom and living room, secure WIFI and clear directions for operating the TV & DVD player. By luck of the changing tides the beach area has increased creating a somewhat private beach for guests at EBTC. Early morning shelling was fabulous, sunset celebrations and entertainment at the tiki bar just a few minutes down the beach were the best ever. The crosswalk to Santini Plaza has been enhanced with lights for even easier access to the great restaurants, shops & Tuesday morning fresh air market. There were many families there celebrating the Christmas and New Year holiday season and people gathered on the beach on New Years eve to witness the midnight fireworks display. Thank you Judy & Jim, I hope to be back in the fall."

Fort Myers Beach Travel Tips

More than 6,200 people call Fort Myers Beach home. This town located on Estero Island wasn't officially incorporated until December 1995, making it a newer Floridian hotspot. Although Fort Myers Beach may be small, more than 1.8 million visitors flock there every year to enjoy the beaches, fishing, shopping, dining, golf and entertainment along the Gulf.

There's no undertow in Fort Myers Beach, making it the "World's Safest Beach" and perfect for families who want to get their toes wet. The entire island is 7 miles long, a nice walk or jog for those who want to work in a little exercise on their trip.

The area that was once home to Native Americans and Spaniards is a favorite among tourists who dine on "pink gold" shrimp and celebrate the fishing industry with the week-long Shrimp Festival held in March.

Fort Myers Beach Attractions

There's a lot to do on the tiny island of Estero including water sports, beach activities and outdoor and indoor attractions. There are 25 public beach accesses on the Gulf side of Estero Island that are marked for easy spotting.

For more protected wildlife areas, check out the Matanzas Pass Wildlife Preserve with a restored cottage, 42 acres of wilderness and a sanctuary for native plants and animals. Seven acres are developed for a park and the rest remains part of a preservation. There are boardwalks that allow visitors to Estero Back Bay access to observe ospreys and pelicans as they fish for food. Kayaks and canoes are available at Oyster Bay and Lovers Key Barrier Island.
