Relaxing stay in beautiful Fort Myers canal home near the river
"My husband and I enjoyed our Feb. 2015 stay at Gloria's lovely home. We have been coming to Fort Myers for the past four years and this was the first time we rented a home off FMB. The home is just a block from the Caloosahatchee River off McGregor Blvd. It is close to some great restaurants and its proximity to downtown Fort Myers opened up our "stomping grounds" area from the beach alone to downtown Fort Myers and more sites and restaurants on Sanibel/Captiva. Gloria's home is fabulous inside and out. The yard is landscaped beautifully and the interior is spacious and decorated to a tee. On cooler days, it was enjoyable to just stay at "home" and read. Grocery stores, movie theaters, and shopping were 10 to 15 min. away. Publix, Costco, Home Goods, Bell Tower Shops, and boutiques were a hop, skip, and jump away via Whiskey Creek Blvd. We also went swimming at a community pool that was just 2 mi. away. We recommend getting a Sun Pass for the toll to Sanibel/Captiva as Gloria's home is close enough that you will find yourself returning there often. We love the coconut shrimp at Timbers on Sanibel and lunches at Grandma Dot's at the Marina. I also engaged in some retail therapy at the Tanger Outlet on the way to Sanibel. If you want to escape the cold and really relax, Gloria's home is the perfect choice."

Fabulous home in a great location to explore all that Florida has to offer.
"We are a family of four and have just returned from a fantastic stay in this fabulous Florida home. It was like home from home, spacious, comfortable and everything was there that we could ever of needed. The pool was clean and a great success with us all and we enjoyed the outdoor area for eating and relaxing.
This home is just perfect for exploring Florida. Nearby Sanibel and Captiva Island are a must. Island Cow restaurant on Sanibel is fun and serves great food at a reasonable price. We took a private boat charter with "Good Time Tours" just outside Fort Myers Beach and we can not recommend them enough. Our skipper Mike had fantastic knowledge of the local Marine and Wildlife and we saw plenty of Dolphins and Manatees very close up!!! Mike dropped us at a remote beach to do shelling and swimming and we also did a spot of sea fishing (both children caught and held Bonnet Head Sharks.
Disney World is just under 3 hours, we did a 2 day visit and Florida Keys also approx 3 hours. We visited The Keys at the end of our stay which was the perfect end to a perfect holiday.
There is so much to do and see in and around the area, too many to list. We look forward to returning as a family to do some more exploring!
P.S. You must visit Love Boat Ice Cream Parlour - 5 mins from the house and the best icecream!!!"

"Beautiful townhouse and enclosed patio/garden. Perfect for us and our girls. George and Elizabeth were so helpful and friendly. The home was very clean and nicely appointed. Great location so close to everything. We spent two glorious weeks here. Enjoyed walking to the harbor to see the sun set. The pool up the street was wonderful. We would highly recommend this townhouse. George and Elizabeth see you soon!"

"The condo was as pictured, clean, and located in a quiet, peaceful community. Venetian Palms is close to shopping and restaurants and not far from the beaches and many tourist attractions. The furniture was comfortable and the kitchen functional. We often enjoyed having coffee or a glass of wine on the screened in lanai. Too bad for us that the condo is already rented for February and March of 2016! Thanks Jim for making our first snowbird rental experience so easy."
