  • Great spot to access the Everglades

"There were two couples in our group. The house was spacious, comfortable and fully equipped. We fished and took a great kayak tour of the islands with local guide Captain Rodney Raffield during our stay. One couple utilized the house canoe throughout our stay, paddling out into the main bay and up Halfway Creek for fishing and exploration. This was my second trip to the area and by far the most comfortable spot to be at...just minutes to town, restaurants, shops and our fishing launch on Chokoloskee Island. We enjoyed the local restaurants and also cooked the fresh fish we caught at the house. Favorite restaurants: Triad Seafood, City Seafood, Camelia's, and Havana Cafe. The Hardware store is also worth a visit!"

  • Royal Palm Beach House - Our best vacation ever!

"We stayed at the Royal Palm Beach House for a week and were so in love with the place that we didn't want to leave. The house was beautiful and just a short walk to the beach. We were pleasantly surprised with the bikes that were available and the beach equipment. Our family - 2 adults & 7 grown children - has stayed in Marriott timeshares almost exclusively, in the past. This house allowed us all to be under one roof, in beautiful accomodations, and also allowed us to have plenty of spreading out room. We give this house an A+++!!!"

  • Fantastic Family Getaway

"We travelled from Toronto with our young kids (4 and 7) and had a wonderful time. The absence of cars made staying on the island so peaceful! The house is in very good condition, had all of the items we needed and lots we hadn't expected (including beach toys, movies, books, games, etc.). We swam every day at the club and played tennis there too. From the deck we saw dolphins daily as well as tons of birds and other wildlife. The beach directly in front of the house is extremely pretty and has soft clean white sand. The water is a little rough in that area - so we put lifejackets on the kids when they played in the water there. We also drove the little golf cart and explored other beaches on the island - many of which have calm shallow spots for swimming. We rented kayaks one morning and had a great time looking for manatees. We didn't see any on that journey, but saw them a number of times in the little marina area. We ate out a few times for dinner and enjoyed those meals. The only store we're aware of on the island was extremely small and had very limited supplies so you should definitely bring everytihng you need with you. Jane and Jeff were extremely helpful and friendly. We have every intention of coming again."

  • As promised

"This condo really is perfect for a couples' get away. Tastefully decorated and quite comfortable. Everything you need and a little more. We saw a lot of birds native to the area and dolphins outside every morning - no need to use binoculars; they were close to shore."
