  • MUCH NEEDED RELAXING VACATION!

"We stayed in this lovely home the 4th of July week. We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation in Longboat Key. House was very large, very clean, and beautifully decorated. The owners definitely thought of everything. Short walk to the beach, great view, enjoyed the pool and canal. Garage was a real plus! Beach was never crowded. House was much larger than it appeared in pictures. Owners were very good to deal with. Only negative as having to leave. Would definitely return and would definitely recommend to all!"

  • Great place!

"We loved the house. Clean house, nice neighborhood, and just the right space. The pool is a plus. Although it's not on the beach- it was close to several different good close, beach locations, which was a nice variety. Lots to do, especially if you like exploring the area. The owner was great to work with and reliable. Would totally stay again- perfect for what we needed for a week get-a-away."

  • Perfect Vacation Spot

"The house is very well maintained and spotlessly clean. My group was 4 Adults and 1 child (10 yr old). Mimi was very responsive and clearly had our interests at heart. She gave us a brief tour when we arrived and made sure to point out all the amenities available. The house is on the canal, and in a quiet neighborhood. The amenities Mimi has provided are impeccable. There are noodles (for swimming) beach chairs, beach towels, sand buckets, shopping carts, table tennis table (and paddles and balls) Kayaks, a canoe, fishing gear (including poles, weights, lines etc), beach bags, pool volleyball set, 6 bicycles etc etc etc. Honestly, we were all blown away by what was provided. The house is even better. 3 bedrooms (enough for 6) comfy beds, extra linens, towels, blankets, pillows. 2 bathrooms (one with a tub), lanai for enjoying the evening breezes. The pool was great and well maintained (pool guy came during the week to clean & service) and we spent many evenings sitting by the dock, enjoying the breeze. The kitchen comes fully stocked with anything one could think of to cook with (including crock pot, blender, toaster oven, dishwasher, huge fridge, electric stove) There's a washer and dryer in the garage that worked like a dream and was big enough to hold several days towels and clothing) The A/C was great too, as it gets hot in August! The beach is a quick 2 block walk, and Mimi provided carts to haul all the beach gear. The village is a little farther, definitely walkable. She also provides a manual that gives you a lot of options in Siesta Key for fun. The house is on a huge lot and has very nice landscaping and is beautifully decorated inside. We all had one of the best vacations we have experienced; aided in no small part by Mimi and the canal house. I would highly recommend it, and we plan on visiting again ASAP! Thanks, Mimi!"

  • Super nice condominium!!

"After being away from Sanibel for a long time, it was a very refreshing return, especially to this condo. The décor was professionally appointed bringing in the beach-like atmosphere that added to the overall ambiance. We will definitely return to this great vacation condo unit. The SIBC management was extremely helpful in recommending dining and entertainment on the island. Bicycles were readily available at no charge to the resort visitors. Bike trails are easy to follow and offer a tropical self-guided tour of the island with quick stops for ice cream creations or your favorite beverage. Of the many fine restaurants on Sanibel, we were happy to find some of our favorites still serving great fare. Recommended: Lighthouse Café for breakfast and Doc Ford's for a great dinner experience (killer shrimp!!). And don't forget Mucky Duck on Captiva - best sunsets anywhere. The Lazy Flamingo still owns a fantastic Chicken Caesar salad - strongly recommended any time of day or nite. And don't forget to say 'hello' to the birds at Jerry's. Bring your sunscreen, flip-flops and beach attire as you practice your "Sanibel Stoop". Or, you can just relax at the pool or hot tub. We'll be back next year...."
