  • Florida Charm in Beautiful Boca Grande

"Wonderful time! This is my second visit at this lovely home. This time I brought my sister for a sisters birthday get away. House was very clean and well maintained, stocked with everything you would need. Very quiet even though it is located in the heart of everything. Short stroll to the beach, restaurants, and shops. We never used the car once we arrived. Thank you for sharing your lovely home. Will be back next year!"

  • We Love This Condo!

"Spending Jan. 4 thru Mar. 15 in this condo has always been a delight. This year was especially nice because of the recent updates. The three new flat screen TV"s, new tile floors and the granite counter tops in the kitchen and baths are beautiful. Also, the new cabinets provide lots of storage in the well furnished kitchen. We would not consider staying any other place!"

  • Great getaway

"Perfect accomadations for us. The rental was clean and well stocked. We had plenty of room for me, my wife, and our dog Nixon. We really enjoyed having a kitchen and cooking breakfast in the mornings. Just a short walk to the beach and a short drive to restaurants and grocery stores. The owner was very nice and helpful. If we come back to Longboat Key, we would definitely stay here again."

  • No "Clowning" Around, A Grand Old Ringling House!

"We looked all over Sarasota/Bradenton for a large house that could accommodate two generations of folks (ages 21 to 62) from out of town for a local wedding. Our choices ended up between a modern home on a golf course and the Ringling House. We decided for the unconventional choice - this historic home in a quiet neighborhood near the bay. By the end of our stay, not a single member of our party regretted our decision! As many others have described, this house is truly unique. From the central "ballroom" sitting area to the variety of bedrooms there are a myriad of interesting pieces of furniture, pictures, knick-knacks and decorative elements that constantly amaze. Yes, it IS an old house with some rough edges (especially around the exterior), but the charm and sense of history are what we will remember most. If you choose to stay at this home, you will love the flexible sleeping arrangements: the 2 suites downstairs are HUGE with plenty of room to spread out, while the 4/5 rooms upstairs allow for many different combinations of occupants. A few of the mattresses are a bit beyond "firm", although nobody in our group complained of a lack of sleep because of the beds. The bathrooms are clean and nicely maintained, with plenty of water pressure and hot water for showers. There are plenty of linens and towels to go around, and there was even a decent supply of TP and paper towels on hand. The kitchen is upgraded with newer appliances and nice granite counter tops, certainly unexpected in a house this age. Pots and pans, small appliances, dishes, and flatware, while a somewhat unmatched, eclectic collection, were more than adequate for our needs. Unlike some vacation homes, there are not a whole lot of spices and cooking basics beyond salt and pepper, and the refrigerator lacks an ice-maker. A washer and dryer off the kitchen are also new. Other pluses: the front sun room for reading and morning coffee; the pool/spa area (although we didn't use them, they look great!); good wifi; the "media" room with a large flat screen TV and DVD player with tons of movies; reasonable proximity to groceries, beer/wine/liquor stores, restaurants and loads of activities. Minuses: as an older house, there are fewer outlets than you are used to, and overhead lighting often needs to be supplemented with lamps (plenty of fans though!); proximate to the airport and you CAN hear the planes, but not an issue for us. Lastly, Brian was super helpful to work with!"
