  • Great family vacation

"We traveled to Florida on business with our two young sons. This apartment has plenty of room and was felt much like our home. It was very convenient to have one of the bedrooms and 2 bathrooms downstairs. The half bath, other bathroom, and 2 bedrooms are upstairs. The beach and pool were also beautifully kept. We had a great time at St.Armand's Circle, which is a short drive. This resort is away from the Florida crowds, quiet, and peaceful."

  • Love Love Love this BEACH HOME

"You will find this condo both comfortable and convenient. Located on the north end of Longboat Key you will have access just 150 steps to a private beach. During our stay we traveled to Mote Marine for a Kayaking with Ecotours and to St. Armand's Circle for shopping and dining. This LONGBEACH condo is also close to Anna Marie Island where you can find additional places to dine and shop. The condo is clean and well kept and the owners were helpful with the renting process. I would definitely recommend this condo to my relatives and friends. We, ourselves, hope to return for another vacation in this paradise!"

  • Beautiful romantic getaway

"My husband and I vacationed here for the week. It was our first time visiting Longboat Key and it was beautiful. There was barely anyone on the beach and the weather was gorgeous with the gulf breeze. The whole resort was kept immaculate including the pool. The apartment had all the amenities of home and we enjoyed eating our home cooked meals on the porch. We will be planning to go back next year. Great place!"

  • A Perfect Family Getaway

"We stayed at the house for a week during March 2014. We had my wife three children (adults) and my daughter in-law and two grandchildren. The house was perfect. Of course it always helps to have nice weather which we did. The house is well maintained on one of the finger streets on the north end of the island on the bay side. The kitchen is well laid out and reasonably equipped. We did a lot of cooking. There were even extras like spices and cooking oils available if needed. There is a master bedroom, and bath suite on the top floor. It is a lovely room with a comfortable bed and a nice view of the canal and the pool. The pool is heated and easy to control. The other bedrooms were also well laid out with clean modern baths. The neighbors are all friendly and have known the owners for years and seem very comfortable with guests staying in the house. The maintenance person is available and very helpful. The beach is about a ten minute walk. There are not many beach access points on Longboat Key but this is by one of them. You can park by the church and there always appeared to be spaces available but we ended up always walking. The beach is beautiful and fairly private. If you want the crowds go north ten minutes just over the bridge to Coquina Beach in Bradenton. It is a beautiful beach and you can get ice-cream and even a beer. Further north is more of what you would expect of a beach town, little shops, restaurants, pizza. Going south you are headed towards Sarasota and St. Armand’s Circle. It has more upscale shops and restaurants. Also think about DryDock on Longboat Key. Make reservations at least a week in advance. Go out for a kayak trip. You will see dolphins, egrets and Great Blue Herons. We had our own personal Great Blue Heron that hung out at the pool and an egret that hung around also. You can rent a boat fairly close by but in the end we did not have enough time. It is about an hour to Busch Gardens in Tampa. Try not to leave the island after 3:00 PM. The traffic is very heavy. So stay near the house if you can and enjoy. The owner is terrific to deal with and very prompt in answering all our questions. In sum it is a terrific place to stay."
