"My family really enjoyed the comfort of this beautiful house. We found lots of sharks teeth and shells. My favorite place on the property was the gazebo. Even when it was the hottest the breeze made it comfortable at the gazebo. We were a little disappointed in the fishing but the pier is nearby and we caught fish there. I would recommend this place to anyone. It is great for a large group. Plenty of room to gather for games or seclude yourself for reading."

"This is an awesome property. It sits on a beautiful lot with lots of palm trees and a great view of the Gulf. We lucked out as there was nobody home at the houses on either side so it was super private! The kitchen was well stocked with the usual items you need. The master bed was comfortable. The air conditioner and tv's worked well. The beach is beautiful, but it is rocky, so your fishing line might get hung up unless you go way out. We found lots of shark's teeth. The wildlife was super! We watched eagles and osprey catch fish, saw two iguanas and a gopher tortoise. I would definitely recommend this property for 2-4 people."

"My family and I try to pick a different vacation spot every summer. This summer (July 2015) we decided to look towards the west coast of Florida. After finding this villa, we quickly got in touch with Sandy and got it reserved. It had everything our 10 person group could ask for (ages from 3 – 66).
The Villa: Great location down the end of a short dirt road. You really feel ‘hidden’ away from everything. The 2 master bedrooms were comfortable and both opened up to the pool area. The living room area meshed nicely with the kitchen. We really spent a ton of our time outside under the lanai eating, playing games, relaxing and enjoying the pool. The garage was fully stocked with bikes, pool toys and chairs to use on the beach.
The Beach: Manasota Beach is just about a half a mile down the road. They provide ample parking, bathrooms and a picnic area for your convenience. The beach is very ‘shelly’. It has tons of shells and you can get lost in time walking and picking up the various shells you come across. It’s also home to a lot of turtle nests and some extremely gorgeous sunsets. The water in the Gulf is warmer and the waves are a bit smaller compared to the Atlantic Ocean side. If you drive down the Key, you will have wonderful views of the Gulf (and some of the Bay) and end up at Stump Pass Beach State Park. This a beautiful area to go exploring and get lost in the serenity of everything.
Miscellaneous: There is a Publix, Wal-Mart and Target right down the road, so any food or general thing you might need is within very close proximity. We primarily cooked our own meals, but the restaurant choices seemed pretty good.
Bottom Line: This ended up being one of my favorite vacation spots. The owner, Sandy, was a pleasure to work with and very responsive. I highly recommend this villa for anyone looking to relax and enjoy the beauty of west coast Florida!"
