"We spent a week at this wonderful beach house with our 3 kids (8yrs.&under). The kitchen was well stocked with anything we needed. The bathrooms and bedrooms were well supplied with towels and linens too. Everything was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Owner, Debbie, was so welcoming and helpful. The best part of all is the close proximity to the beach, easy to pop back and forth for breaks, snacks, drinks, etc. The beach itself is beautiful, and our kids spent hours shelling, finding sharks teeth and even a starfish. Dolphins in the morning and beautiful sunsets in the evening rounded out our week. What a wonderful stay. We are looking forward to going back and will definitely stay here again."

"What can I say? Perfect comes close! We stayed in the guest cottage which was plenty big enough for 2 (sleeps 4 with 1 bdrm and a sofa bed) and had pretty much all we needed. It was clean and well stocked and very nicely and comfortably furnished. The grounds around the house are beautifully peaceful in themselves. To get up and have that first cup of coffee lounging in that park-like setting was ideal! Then, just a matter of steps to the beach! Manasota Key has the best beaches here in SW FL. I live here and these are our favorites! Plenty of shells, sharks' teeth, and beach to explore. I very much enjoyed the walk down to Stump Pass, a state park to the south (left), and back again. In October, the water was clear and refreshing! The sunsets were simply AMAZING, with a peaceful gathering every evening closing out the day. Bring a couple of chairs and your camera! Scott does have a few beach things in the shed for use, chairs, rafts, buckets, noodles, that come in handy. The neighborhood is quiet and just off the rush of the main road. Shopping, restaurants and nightlife is just up the road. Whatever you're looking for, it's there! With a folder full of suggestions in the cottage, left by Scott and friends, you have plenty of dining to chose from. Everything from pizza to fine dining and a few tropical drinks! Scott was very accommodating and I envy him having this place of his own. I look forward to hopefully making this an annual staycation with everything this beach house vacation has to offer! Thank you Scott for sharing your piece of heaven!"

"We felt like we were home the minute we walked into this house. Extremely clean, pool was amazing! A million dollar view..Bruce was amazing everything we could possible want was there. Look forward to going for 2 weeks next year. And for anyone with teenagers we had 2 with us they had an awesome time the room over the garage was theirs and they loved it. we really can't say one bad thing. Anyone who has traveled with kids know pleasing them is hard and they had the best time. Thank you Bruce... We created wonderful family memories in your home..."

"Split eleven wonderful days between 2 groups - my sister and 3 nieces and then my 3 sisters-in-law. What great memories we made! I've stayed in other beach front dwellings on both east and west coast of FL - This was by far the absolute best! It's amazing how such a gorgeously decorated condo could be so very comfortable at the same time. Everyone - from my 8 year old great-niece to my eldest sister-in-law (83 yo) – had the most delightful time! Condo is the perfect backdrop to enjoy your loved ones!
How relaxed we were! After a night in the most comfortable beds ever found in a rental, we’d gather one by one with coffee or tea on the lanai to enjoy the gulf front view. Then we'd walk along the beach looking for shells followed by cooling off in the pool. My sisters-in-law and I were thrilled to witness the Turtle Patrol setting boundaries around a new turtle nest (you could see the flipper tracks coming in from the water), as well as the Patrol assisting as necessary once a nest of eggs had hatched. (You have to get up early for this, but GREAT fun!)
We'd do a little souvenir shopping and riding about during the midday. The Beach Rd. Boutique is definitely worth a visit and there are super discoveries at the local Goodwill - Found glass bowls just right for pretty shells from the beach. Late afternoons were perfect for another trip to the beach and/or pool.
Perfect for homemade meals – kitchen is well equipped for food preparation! One night my nieces made delicious fish tacos using locally purchased shrimp and hogfish (never had it before) and black beans and rice. When my sisters-in-law came we enjoyed homemade Cuban sandwiches as good as any you'd buy in the Tampa area. My eldest sister-in-law made her family famous pasta salad - a tradition at our annual Girls' Getaway. In between we ate out - Don't miss the lobster bisque at Gulf View Bar and Grill! Be sure to try Zeke’s in historic Olde Englewood for their Crayfish Potato Nachos, and definitely don’t overlook Landy’s full menu with Seafood, Italian, and Greek specialties.
We were so sad to leave, but have made plans to return next year. Thank you, Jean, for what must be the easiest check-in on the face of the earth! Most especially, Debby, I thank you for making your exquisite home available for others to enjoy!"
